When i arrived i had been sober for 8 months but i was living in a car and not feeling good about life. They got me a bed same day I applied. My room is very very large with a brand new full size bed and locking door. The house is very clean and I was made to feel at home immediately. Fresh Start is not some soulless corporate entity with pure profit motive. Management are all guys from the recovery community, some are FSSL alumni. It is not a rehab, it is sober living, much like a boarding home or rooming house but with rules that include abstaining from drugs and alchol and attending 12 step groups. Residents are required to work or volunteer if physically able. If you are on the street get intouch with James, Ken, or Scott, it will be the best call you have ever made!!!
