Guilford House

Guilford House is a top notch community. The community is always clean and staff are friendly and engaging. The residents are happy and always having fun when I visit. Community offers assisted living and memory care living.

My father has been residing as a resident of the facility for 2yrs. He complains on how rudely the staff is. I have also experienced rude conduct from the staff here at Guildford House. The director Ms. Barbra is highly rude and disrespectful. She became irate and ill mannered when asking why was my father’s contact information and other forms of documentation changed and or misplaced. My dad constantly complains about staff using inappropriate language towards him such as the term “ nigger” and disrespecting him. My father has dementia which causes him to forget often (especially short term) the staff including director Ms. Barbra feel that he doesn’t need assisted living or special care for his condition. I highly suggest you look for another assisted living facility if you want your love one to be genuinely and properly cared for.

The staff at Guilford house is always kind and thoughtful. Barbara is the sweetest and JC is so much fun. Kimberly is so helpful as well. I only have good things to say!

I was looking for a facility with memory care for my mom in October. I reached out to Guilford House. I was called in less than thirty minutes to find out she was approved. It only took two weeks to get her moved in. Everyone on the team was very helpful with whatever I needed. My mom had told me and my brother the staff there is good to her and she is fine and getting use to her new home. I am grateful to God for how he put everything in place especially since we are in a pandemic. Thank you Guilford House for all you do to make my moms transition easy. God bless you all!!! Guilford House is very welcoming and modern. I have visited many communities similar to Guilford House and I am amazed that it doesn't have an odor like other places. They must pride themselves on the cleanliness of the elderly and their building.
