Hampton Manor of Hamburg provides excellent care with kind staff, great activities, and a well-maintained, comfortable environment.

Management there (Whitmore lake Mi.)has no clue as to how to run an American business, especially a retirement home. He just cares about telling lies to the family moving their loved ones in. Making money is number one for him. No empathy for the residents that pass, they pay an arm and a leg living there and no card, plant, nothing giving when the loved one passes. Big time turn over there, he just replaces instead of giving raises when staff are due for one. Never ever asks how things are going with anything, just a hey why don’t you dust, vacuum when that’s not even the caregivers job. He’s very shady!!!

My mother passed away on November 6th and I was told that the balance of the month would be reimbursed after the room was cleared out. The following Monday the room was cleared. There still hasn't been any money reimbursed and I've tried contacting the manager a number of times to talk to him and not one returned phone call. This is a poor way to run a business.

Hampton Manor of Hamburg was just what my parents needed. The caregivers make the difference. They are kind and caring. They never complain or act like they don't want to do something. The activities director goes above and beyond. Good food and accommodating for special needs. The facility is well-maintained and truly top-notch with spacious rooms and private patio.

My Mom moved to Hampton Manor Hamburg in April. Since then, she has begun thriving in ways that amaze the family. She loves the activities, and the social aspects have been great for her mental health! The team here takes great care of her!
