My mother lived there, their staff were overworked and I could barely find staff. My mother fell numerous times. I would NOT recommend this place for your loved one.

If you want to get a good grasp on this facility, look at the reviews that have more than a single review written. Pretty evident they are trying to raise their review. My Aunt was in this facility (memory care) and it was horrible. The general staff was normally very nice, but it is quite evident they are unaware of what is considered a restraint device. They locked my aunt in a Geri chair all day! When I told them they couldn't do that, they said I would have to talk to management about it. Thankfully, she was pulled out of the facility quickly and taken to a residential facility where she is actually getting good care! I know a lot of these places have issue, but this place seems to be the worst of the worst. It is a very pretty facility, but look underneath the pretty carpet and walls and you will see the care just isn't there. I place the blame on training as the turnover there is really bad and most have zero knowledge of the rules revolving around restraints and general care of the elderly.

This place is very nice inside and out esthetically but the care is really poor. The rotation of staff entering, being fired or leaving is pretty nuts! I realize this industries has a lot of this, but they recently fired the facilities manager and the marketing manager as well. I'm not sure what is going on here, but they seriously need to focus on the care of residents. The staff is extremely slow to react to calls for assistance. Heck, I had to pick a resident off of the floor because their wife was in the hallway and didn't know what to do. She just kept pointing at him on the floor. It is a hard enough decision to put a loved one into one of these facilities, do yourself a favor and avoid the poor care here and look elsewhere.

Responding to your response: Your Executive Director told me on the phone when he was upset with my wife, "Maybe I will throw your mother out without waiting the 30 days." As stated before, your staff was very nice, but your E.D. took his hurt feelings out on my mother. Not to mention, he told me I should get my wife "inline." After looking at several facilities, I made the decision to go with the Memory Care unit at Hampton Manor of Woodhaven. The staff was always nice, but my mom simply didn't get cared for the way I would have expected her to be. She was sent to the hospital 3 times in 3 weeks, left in a Geri-Chair for 24 hours and days at a time and supposedly given a skin assessment but had a pressure sore pad on her butt from the hospital 7 days after being taken in. BE AWARE, this facility has no licensed staff members (no RNs or LPNs) as it is considered a non-skilled facility. I brought up the care concerns to the Executive Director who got upset with my verbiage and told me he would talk to the staff. He called me a few days later and we got into a heated argument with him stating he would just throw my mother out without having to wait the 30 days. Sure enough, he did. The facility sent my mother to the hospital for a UTI and while i was with my mother in the ER they called stating they would not allow her back into the facility. The Executive Director told me they couldn't care for my mother the way I had expected and if he did, he would have to send me a bill for $25,000-$30,000 a month. He also said I should "get my wife inline" because she swore at him and he said she was disrespectful (the real reason he threw my mother out, IMO). As stated, the staff is very friendly, but management and the care provided is not where it should be. I absolutely cannot recommend this facility.

A Warm and Welcoming Home – Hampton Manor of Woodhaven Exceeds Expectations! My recent tour of Hampton Manor of Woodhaven left me incredibly impressed, and I feel compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere – it truly felt like a home! My tour included staff from Sales and Management. All of them displayed such dedication, compassion and too were incredibly knowledgeable, patiently answering all of my questions and providing a comprehensive overview of their services, activities, and safety protocols. What stood out most was their genuine commitment to the residents' well-being and their proactive approach to creating a vibrant and supportive community. It's evident that they foster a culture of open communication and continuous improvement. Equally impressive were the caregivers. I observed several interactions during my tour, and each one was characterized by genuine kindness, respect, and attentiveness. The staff members I spoke with were not only highly skilled and professional but also radiated a true sense of compassion. They clearly know the residents well, addressing them by name and engaging in meaningful conversations. It's clear that the caregivers go above and beyond to ensure residents feel comfortable, safe, and valued, assisting with daily needs while promoting independence and dignity. Their cheerful dispositions and willingness to help were truly heartwarming. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a variety of comfortable common areas and engaging amenities. However, it's the exceptional management and the truly dedicated caregivers that made Hampton Manor of Woodhaven stand out. I left feeling confident that my loved one as all residing here would receive top-notch care in a truly nurturing environment.
