HARMONY COLLECTION AT COLUMBIA (IL)

Took a tour on yesterday with Jonae, please forgive me if I misspelled your name, and she was the absolute best! She covered all basis and I loved every minute of it.

Had a wonderful experience visiting the community. Community is very clean and smelled fresh, the employees were very friendly and welcoming. The Administrator was helpful and very cheerful, met with the new memory care manager who seemed attentive to the residents needs. The dining room was clean with muffins and juice available. Residents were clean and well groomed. Would recommend this community for your family member.

I do not recommend Harmony to anyone who cares about their loved one. The executive director is only interested in warehousing your loved one. My mother has been here for 6 years, and we have never had a complaint. When I did complain about violations in DHEC regs I was told I had to move my mother within 30 days and was trespassed from seeing my own mother. I am her legal guardian. Staff have been demoralized by this executive director. Talking to corporate was a waste. This director said she will never be fired because she has friends at corporate. This means families are at the mercy of this director.

The staff is awesome! From all the kind people that help with move in and all the staff that give great care to so many seniors. The food is always consistent and yummy. I would highly recommend Harmony to anyone looking for a place to live and thrive.

The customers are very friendly. The meals could be less salty. I love the open balcony, not all have them. They could use a few more handicap spaces. The one bedroom apartments are wonderful. They do have independent living as well as assisted and memory care.
