HARVEST OF ALEDO

It’s a wonderful place. The staff is amazing and always there for anything I might need for my mom. Highly recommend, especially as someone who is unsure of where to even start with this process, like myself. They will help you through everything.

I have visited Harvest several times with a family member and have attended a few family nights as well. Every time I have been there staff has always been polite and friendly. The family night dinners are fun and the food is delicious. My own grandmother was in a facility like this before she passed and I will say the food there was nowhere close to being as good as the food you serve. Thank you for all you do and all your hard work.

Reading these recent reviews, I am quite sure these people spend very little time at Harvest. My mom has been at Harvest for almost a year. Recently, the 4th Executive Director and 3rd head cook took over. I say cook and not chef, because the meals are mediocre at best. I have lunch with my mom at least once a week and every meal is either cold, not what we ordered or takes an hour to get to the table. This past weekend the "special" was hot dogs and nachos with several items listed on the main menu not available. The caretakers double as wait staff which shows that they are underpaid and they are clearly miserable. The high turnover rate is proof in the pudding. After losing serval items of her laundry, she has now hired someone, to the cost of $100 a month to take care of it. So, after complaining for an entire year, Civitas responds by raising her rent. From the outside, Harvest is a nice place. Inside, it is clearly all about making money off our loved ones. If it wasn't for the 6 people she eats with, we would have moved my mom months ago. I have received several surveys from Civitas and each time I write the same thing. "If anyone reads this, please call me". Not one person has called me.

Had a great tour by Sherry of the facility and all they have to offer. Looking forward to bringing my Mom here to see the beautiful place. Enjoyed seeing the residents have a Mardis Gras parade, they looked like they had a lot of fun

What an incredible facility. I toured several places for my mother and absolutely fell in love with Harvest of Aledo. What a fantastic staff, everyone is so accommodating and helpful. From the facility tour we learned about all the different amenities that were available. Fresh gourmet meals with multiple choices each day. Activities, a salon and a theatre room. The overall cleanliness is impeccable. My mom fell in love with her spacious new home, as did our entire family. I am certain our family made the right decision in trusting the wonderful people at Harvest to care for my mom. It is a blessing for her to be here.
