HAVELOCK MANOR

Havelock Manor is an ok place if your loved one needs minimal care. Anyone needing a more hands on approach should look elsewhere. I had a camera installed (they knew about it) watching some of the footage is pleasant-but most of it is horrific. The indifference of the staff and carelessness/neglect is appalling. I kept some of the videos, cannot share them publicly though.

Havelock Manor took excellent care of my mom. She was in another place prior and fell 4 times in two weeks. She didn’t fall once here. The administrator and all of the care providers watched her closely and made her smile. It is a small cozy homelike atmosphere. Thank you for caring for her with such compassion. It allowed us to truly enjoy our last days with her as her family instead of her caregivers.

My step-dad was in 3 different facilities in the last 6 years and Havelock Manor was the last one and the best! They were the only facility that had staff around and they truly cared! There were no odors like in the other facilities and they were so good about checking on him. I felt like I could finally relax and know that he was being taken care of by people who loved him!! Best staff ever!!

My mother came to Havelock Manor four years ago to rehab after a fall. When it became clear mom could no longer live independently, she chose to stay and make Havelock Manor her new home because of the kind and excellent care provided by Janine and her staff; delicious homemade meals; and the small, family-like atmosphere. My brothers and I are grateful our mother lives at Havelock Manor, where she is happy, well cared for, and safe. Havelock Manor is one of the few facilities where not one resident, not one of our loved ones, has tested positive for Covid 19.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Havelock Manor! We moved our family member in there in the middle of covid and I couldn't be any more pleased on how they have handled everything to keep all of the clients safe and happy!! Havelock Manor is just like a happy home!! They all take such good care of every client and plan fun happy things for everyone to do!! I know this has to be a challenge everyday but they meet that challenge and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe and well taken care of!!!
