I have nothing but positive comments to offer about Hawaii Loa Care Home. The staff is truly exceptional. Susan, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our uncle’s well-being and care with minimal notice. We were in a hurry to find a care facility for our 85-year-old uncle, who was recovering from hip surgery. Susan and her staff were able to place him in their care home within two days. We felt extremely reassured that we made the right decision for our uncle to complete his recovery with their 24-hour assistance. Susan was always available to answer any questions and provide information. She explained the procedures and limitations of her and her staff. I was grateful for this information and gained valuable insights from her and the dedicated staff. Our uncle developed a fondness for the other residents and the staff. Jackie, one of the nurses, was particularly helpful. She listened to him, assisted him when necessary, and frequently checked in on him. He truly felt loved and cared for. He is now strong enough to return home. The day before he was checking out they gave him a little going away party. They printed a photo of his time there and he wants to get that framed. This is the kind of respect are elderly should always feel. He was deeply emotional when he left, as were we. Susan and her remarkable staff reassured him that he was always welcome to visit and sing songs or play his ukulele for them. If you are seeking a care home for your loved one, I highly recommend this facility. They have a hardworking staff that genuinely cares about their residents and treats them like family. Additionally, we always felt welcomed during our visits. We will miss Susan and her staff, but we know that we are always welcomed to come back.

My first time coming here, and the staff are great, very secure place and the residents are friendly and well taken care of. The staff and nurses are very welcoming and helpful with inquiries! Hawaii Loa Care is very beautiful. And there’s always someone cleaning so it’s sparkling clean!!
