There are truly no words big enough to express our gratitude for this assisted living home and the extraordinary people who work here. From the very beginning, my mom was cared for with dignity, kindness, and genuine love. This was never “just a job” to the caregivers and staff — they treated her like family, and that meant everything to us. The level of care she received was exceptional, but what sets this place apart is the heart behind that care. Every interaction was filled with compassion, patience, and respect. We always knew she was safe, seen, and deeply cared for. When my mom passed away, the love this team showed went far beyond anything we could have expected. The caregivers and staff were genuinely affected — they cried with us, hugged us, and grieved alongside our family. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, they didn’t just take care of my mom — they took care of us. That kind of humanity is rare, and we will never forget it. This assisted living home is the very definition of what caregiving should be. They are exceptional people doing extraordinary work, and we are forever grateful for the comfort, love, and support they gave our mom and our family. We will carry their kindness with us always.

I love that Heart and Hand is owned and managed by local Imperial Valley residents. Which means they are there “hands on” every day and the owners are always just a phone call away. It’s a clean, beautiful house located in a beautiful neighborhood. All the food is homemade from personal recipes from one of the owners and whenever I have visited I smell something good cooking from the moment I walk through the front door. Just like home. Heart and Hand is the type of home our loved ones deserve, and I am glad we have it in the valley. I know firsthand they truly put their heart into everything about this special place.

Awesome and compassionate people work here. They take extremely good care of your loved one. Everyone is genuine and truly care as if the person there is their own parent or grandparent. I highly recommend. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I have to say the experience we have had with Heart & Hand and the staff has been amazing. The care received and all the answers to our questions were so comforting. The facility is VERY clean and the food is homemade. The activities provided keep your loved one active and engaged. If you are looking for a place for someone in your family who is needing extra care and want them to be loved and supported, Heart & Hand is for you. The staff is experienced and caring!!
