Heber Valley Assisted Living

I moved my mother here for the last six months of her life. The care given to her was over the top. The staff brought out the best of my mom who had dementia. She became more social, she participated in activities, she was clean and very well taken care of. They do hourly rounding and the staff spent time with the residents. I had a lot of health issues and unable to drive and barely able to walk. When I would call and talk to Stacy, the facility director, would always assure me that mom was being taken care of. I knew she was cared for from the times that i was able to go see her I just did not make the connection of the strong heart and soul caring that was being given. When the time came for mom to pass I finally understood what Stacy was saying. Not only was Mom was being cared for she was part of a family. It was evident that mom was loved and she loved the staff. Each staff member came in and said their goodbyes to mom. They cried. They reminisced. They laughed. They loved. When mom first moved there she was very defiant and not pleasant to be around or work with. Tiffany, the nursing director, went in and with her determination and cute personality was able to get mom in the shower. Mom loved Tiffany and Tiffany loved mom. Staff members would sing with mom and watch movies with her. I felt true genuine love and during her hours of passing i was able to fully see the reason mom became so content and peaceful. She was home, not just someone in a facility. The residents also cared for one another. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff at HVAL. I will forever be grateful. You are the very best.

My grandmother was living with us and needed round the clock care and assistance. We work full time but she needed someone who could be with her full time during the day too. We moved her here, it was the best decision. She was happy to be in this social environment (even though she wasn’t a particularly social loving person before). The staff is loving and caring. The residents are happy and fun. They loved our kids coming over and our kids loved being there too. My grandmother passed away with a room full of family, Tiffany (hospice nurse and the facility nurse) helped her transition happen peacefully and helped answer any of our questions too. She’s skilled at helping the resident and helping the family in such a kind and caring way. It was a tough time but we couldn’t have been in a better place. Stacy who runs the operation is bright and happy and makes sure the residents have fun and special times. When you’re working in a place like this you see family who maybe are not coming in often, Stacy makes sure the little moments are full and the special times are celebrated. Thank you guys.

I moved mom to Heber Valley Assisted Living a few months ago. Stacy (the manager) and Tiffany the facility nurse truly and 100% genuinely care about each and every resident there. They know them. They are very attentive to their needs. They go above and beyond. The other staff members are also very caring and attentive to the residents. All of the staff members spend time visiting with the residents and getting to know them. I do not worry about medication administration errors, personal hygiene, linens getting changed, whether or not mom is eating, sleeping, not feeling well or the cleanliness of her room. Mom is very well taken care of.

Stacy, Tiffany, and all of the staff there are awesome! They gave the best care to my mother that could be given anywhere! My mother loved being there and loved them. They helped her have the best quality of life possible right up to the very end of her life. They are so good to work with us and we’re and still are a great strength to us. My entire family and I Highly recommend this facility and all of their staff-which is really what makes it such a great place. Wayne Edwards

Heber Valley Assisted Living is a smaller care center focused on meeting individual needs. This care center was excellent to return calls and provide information. Upon visiting we found a comfortable atmosphere where it is easy to relax. The facility is clean and free from offensive odors. Meals are home cooked! Mom needed full care! The staff here is excellent and on top of needs. Personal hygiene, proper care to avoid pressure sores, administering medications, are exceptional. A true blessing for our family. Nothing bad to say about this care center. They are excellent! 5 stars without hesitation.
