HERITAGE ASSISTED LIVING MIDDLETON

I got a tour today at the Middleton location. Joe was extremely helpful with all my questions. He made me feel like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. The facility is absolutely amazing.

My mom lived at the Middleton Heritage for quite a few years, in an assisted living apartment. Her service was sub-par, causing my siblings and I to take her out quickly, and relocate her. She had gotten bedbugs, and it was obvious her bedding, and her body had not been kept clean, like contracted. They were supposed to regularly change her bedding, and assist her with showers. We saw the bugs in all stages of development, so that means the neglect had gone on for weeks. We took mom to the ER for bedbug bites care. We had other issues too, not consistent with medicine delivery, and they threw away lots of her silverware on trays, instead of making sure it was kept with her.

Joe D., Executive Director, spent 2.25 hours on our tour, which was so impressive! He took a lot of time to work with me and my mother in law to get to know her, tour the facility and ask questions. He and the staff are highly committed to Heritage and genuinely caring about their residents. Ciara, the Life Enrichment Coordinator, introduced herself, and Nicole, the Director, came to my mother in law’s rehab to sign paperwork. Joe was a wealth of information, always available, and responsive. We’re excited to be joining the Heritage family!

My mother was in assisted living at The Heritage in Middleton for 2 years and 8 months. I felt she was well cared for during this time. The management team were responsive to our needs. The staff that cared for mom were caring, attentive, and responded quickly as needed. The staff also did her laundry and cleaned her apartment. Meals were mostly to her liking and they were mindful of her special dietary requirements. The activities people were always a bright spot for mom every day. They were always so upbeat and smiling as they led various activities including morning stretching (moms favorite), crafts, coffee hour, special entertainment, and many other social events. I would recommend The Heritage for anyone seeking assisted living.

Our family is very pleased with the memory care unit at Heritage Middleton. All the staff are very kind and are willing to help my mom as needed. There are activities that are available for her to partake in. The nursing staff keeps the family updated on my mom's health status and does their best to keep things on a schedule that she likes. My mom's room is kept very clean. If there is a maintenance issue, it is addressed in a timely manner. The Executive Director at Heritage Middleton is approachable and is willing to help us in any way. She is especially helpful to us in filing invoices to my mom's long-term care insurance company. We think Heritage Middleton is a beautiful, well maintained, safe place!
