Heritage Care of Conover

I haven’t been at Heritage Care of Conover very long, but in the time I’ve been here, I’ve been truly impressed with Melissa’s leadership as Executive Director/Administrator. She is professional, approachable, and clearly committed to both the residents and the staff. Melissa maintains a strong presence in the building and leads with confidence while still being supportive and understanding. It’s clear she holds high standards, but she also takes the time to listen and ensure her team feels heard. That balance of accountability and compassion makes a big difference in the overall atmosphere here. Even as someone newer to the facility, I can already see the positive culture she works hard to create. Heritage Care of Conover is fortunate to have her leadership.

The staff is rude and the management is horrible. The facility is dirty and they leave their residents in their dirty briefs far longer than they should be.

My brother is a resident and everytime I go and see him the place is always clean and the staff are really nice

Very poor experience! Try calling to speak with a resident (especially the weekend) is virtually impossible! Not good at all!!!

Cut hours, which means cutting staff and not enough needed as residents need. Dinner is prepared by 1st shift (no later than 2pm) and is served at 5-5:30pm usually barely warm and often dry, tuff, hard, or all. Most of staff is friendly and helpful when here. This facility is under new administration as of recent. Needs more time to have the chance to make the right choices for residents as well as staff. We're all behind her and feel she will make some positive changes must give her ample time best to check it out for yourself
