HERITAGE HOUSE OF ROCKWALL

No one will tell you that the search to find a senior home is draining. With the stories I've heard about nursing homes, I really had anxiety about leaving my dad in a place like that. He's independent but a wanderer due to alzheimers. The manager, Balaji, walked me through their lockdown protocol, and I got to test it out myself. Thank God, its foolproof. Balaji has been real sweet to my dad. Takes him to the senior center 5mins away from the home every other weekend and walks around the neighborhood with him. When I visited last week he got a little confused thinking I was taking him to his house. Balaji said to him simply "this is your house". And just like that he relaxed. I am genuinely grateful to Heritage Hill Home for everything they do.

I've been doing home health nursing, but this was my first time caring for a resident in a senior home like this. I see what the manager is doing, and I like it. The manager has her own individual relationship with each resident. Here's this young woman and older woman laughing like little school girls. Man, this it how it should be. The caregivers keep the patients clean and the house clean. Honestly, it's just a beautiful environment.

My grandmother is late now but the care she received at Heritage Hill Home really made me happy. She was able to build a friendship with the other residents and her caregiver, Margaret. Margaret really treated us like family. I never had to worry about bed sores or neglect. It was just a cozy environment. Everytime I visited it was like old times visiting grandma's house. I’m glad I found this place Super Thankful for places like this where Care management is wonderful
