Does not serve everyone equally and I am still trying to figure out what “assistance “ is included. Seems like it’s sporadic and biased. They lose good workers and keep those that spend more effort finding ways to avoid working Yes there are several very nice compassionate people here but my experience has been that when in real need or concern you’re on your own. They don’t cater to things that set off allergies or stress panic more likely they add to it You probably can count on the facility to get you to a hair appointment or accompany you to the store but if you get in a jam and need accompany to a doctor visit you are out of luck I will say that the staff is quick with assistance in emergencies that they witness

He has shared with me how happy he is with his living arrangements at Heritage Wood. The cleanliness and upkeep of the facility are truly impressive, and the staff members are not only friendly but also attentive to the needs of the residents. I have personally witnessed the variety of activities offered to the residents, from bingo nights to special celebrations, and it is clear that you prioritize their well-being and happiness. Moreover, I have been consistently impressed by the open communication between the staff and the families of residents. Whenever a concern is raised, it is addressed promptly and effectively, which has given me peace of mind knowing that my father is in good hands. I have recommended Heritage Wood Assistance Living to several of my patients in need of assisted living services, and I will continue to do so confidently. Moved my mom to this beautiful place last October and she loves it. She has decorated her apartment her way with her own furniture and that makes her happy. She loves all the workers there and absolutely thinks very highly of Latoya (director ). This place takes care of all of moms needs. The cafeteria has a daily menu where mom can choose what she wants to eat. We've ate there with her and the food is excellent. Top notch place for your loved one.

I can’t say enough about what a great facility Heritage Woods is! The staff worked hard with me helping me to get my mother into an apartment there after her stroke. The physical, OT, and speech therapy there are amazing. They will text with me and work on individualized goals for mom. My mother has dementia so it is important to have good communication with her caregivers to stay on top of anything that anyone might notice is an issue. My mother LOVES her apartment. She says the staff are always so kind and helpful…she calls them her angels. The meals are very good and there is a resident council so the residents can vote for or against items they like and make suggestions for the future. The views are lovely and the facility is in great shape and well kept. All the residents I’ve met are kind and happy to engage. Mom has made some friends and is getting out more. There are frequent outings and activities if she wants to participate. I highly recommend Heritage to anyone who is looking for a place where they can get more assistance but still maintain privacy and independence. I cannot think of anything bad I have to say and neither has my mother (except for some meal choices she didn’t like 😄) after over 6 months residency.

My father lived at Heritage Woods for almost 2 years. He was so happy there. The care he received and the personal attention he got, meant so much to all of us. He wasn’t always easy to please, so for him to say he loved the staff (especially Latoya!) it showed how much he loved living there.
