The community feels like a family rather than just a place to live. My mom has really enjoyed the activities including crafts and the weekly music. I highly recommend Hickory Park Senior Living!

I can’t say enough about Danielle at Hickory Park. She worked to help make the transition from independent living to assisted living so smoothly, was extremely attentive to my mother’s needs and made sure to introduce my mother to new friends right away to make her comfortable. There have been some surprises along the way with regard to my mom’s health and everything was handled professionally and with respect. Now that mom is settled in more, she is very happy with the care she receives and we couldn’t be happier!

I want to give a big shoutout to Danielle and all the staff at Hickory Park. My mom originally went in for short-term rehab and was only planning to stay for about a month. But once she got settled, that quickly changed. The care and support she receives have made such a difference. The staff is always there when she needs something, and we feel so much better knowing she’s safe and well cared for. When she presses her pager, someone comes within minutes. That quick response gives our whole family peace of mind. One of the things I love is that she can still be independent in her own space while knowing help is close by if she needs it. It’s also a very social place. She enjoys the recreational activities and has made new friends. I even suggested an activity, and Danielle adjusted her schedule to make it happen. The flexibility of care is another big advantage. We can decide how much support my mom gets, which made the transition more comfortable for her. The facility is clean, modern, and well maintained. Her apartment is great, and she loves the food, the salon, the therapy department, and all the programs they offer. Hickory Park is a wonderful place, and we are so thankful for the kindness and care they show every day.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful we all feel about our Mom living at Hickory Park. She has only been there since the beginning of May and she herself says it's just like home. Danielle, the assistant director, was made for her job. She guided me along the way to make sure I was making the right decision for my Mom for an assisted living facility. Danielle is patient, understanding, kind and compassionate when dealing with the families and the residents. The care staff have been so good to my Mom always asking about how she is doing and if she needs anything. My Mom feels like she is part of a big family. The dining hall and food are like sitting and enjoying a meal at an expensive restaurant. The chef and servers should be commended for their food preparation and service. The nurse has been so good about communicating in regards to my Mom's medication and changes. James, the facility director, met with us the day we moved in and greeted us with kindness and care. The activities are unique and fun. The facility is beautifully decorated and inviting. You feel warm and cozy when you enter the building. As Hickory Park is a smaller facility, you get to know more about the people that live and work there.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hickory Park but let me try. I had been searching for the perfect place for my then 94 yr old aunt. I had visited 8 different facilities. From the moment I meet with Danielle Fischer (little did I know she wears many hats)I knew this would be my new aunts home. The facility is clean welcoming and positive. But what really sets it apart is the people that work there. I moved my aunt Bess up from Florida so I anticipated a difficult start to establishing new friends and settling into her new home. I was surprised to see how quickly she adjusted it was all made possible by the staff. Danielle was very active in developing a friendship of trust with Bess, taking the time to meet staff and make friends. Care was taken in finding the right dining partner who have since become good friends and look out for each other. Recently there was a need to elevate Bess’s care from independent to assisted living. Once again the staff stepped up including Marina, Daniella and caregivers. It is not unusual to see staff members visiting with residents, they make everyone feel like their 2nd family. I apologize this is so long but have to mention the food it’s homemade! Bess and I feel blessed to be apart of the Hickory Park family. I would Highly recommend.
