Highland Home for the Aged

As we started searching for places for our mom to go for her Alzheimer’s, Highlands was our final choice for many reasons. The initial call and speaking with Mike was informational. He took his time in helping us understand the ins and outs of their facility and even shared other resources to help our mom in this journey. In asking around to friends and family, this was the only facility with all good reviews- I heard nothing bad about Highland’s. I was told care was top notch. Once we moved mom in, we experienced all that we heard. Caring staff, staff that goes above and beyond their job role to help our mom and other patients. They are great problem solvers in helping our mom feel comfortable and at home given this terrible disease she has and the challenges she has each day because of it. Hands down the best decision we made in our mom’s Alzheimer’s journey has been bringing our mom to Highlands. They’ve all been a true blessing to us and mom. Thank you Highland Staff❤️

Outstanding! It doesn't get much better than Highland. Mike was Fantastic and his staff was top-notch. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who has a family member with dementia. They really care.

I cannot say enough positive good things about this assisted-living facility. Everybody there is so nice and caring. The owner is down to earth and it’s not about the money. It’s about taking care of people the way it is supposed to be. My mother spent her last moments here and left this world peacefully d by people that cared and they always kept me up-to-date on everything and they treated her so well. I highly recommend this facility for anyone because it’s not like a lot of people actually care anymore but these people do.!

While my mother's stay was brief, before she pasted, she enjoyed the people and the staff. While I was there visiting, the were outstanding to me , and to the other residents. I could not have asked for better care for my mom. my hats off to each of you the staff at Highland. If I find the need for that kind of care in the future, that's the place I want to go.

My mom moved to Highland in March 2016, because she needed more care and assistance than the independent living facility she was living in could provide. The staff at Highland is excellent, and I've been very happy with her care. They have activities for residents every day, and the building is very clean and well managed. I would recommend Highland to anyone looking for a good place for their loved one.
