Beautiful apartments here really, but the elevator is not cleaned very nice. And the smell of weed is not good! Don't think that the manager really cares? And I don't know why she wants to raise the rent? People need a place to stay really! Please don't raise the rent 🙏.

The Regal property manager, seems to be very nice nasty as I was asking a question and then she hung up on me. So beware as you call and inquire for their apartments. She clearly needs to be released from her duties for “helping and giving information”

I too am ending my lease early. The tenant’s upstairs are always smoking weed and unfortunately at least three rooms in my apartment constantly smell like weed. I’m not opposed to people smoking weed, but it concerns me from a fire hazard standpoint and these are non smoking buildings. Also, as a non weed smoker, I don’t want to smell it in my living quarters. In addition, there is a huge sewer problem with the building. Every time it rains there is a huge stinky sewer stench in my kitchen sink and in the cabinet under the sink. It also stink so bad at other times too and I smell it throughout the apartment. Finally, the trains are far louder than I ever expected. They switch cars in the middle of the night and have woken me and kept me awake for hours on too many occasions.

I moved into this complex in August 2024 and decided to end my lease early in March 2025 after experiencing nothing but issues. I was one of the first residents in the building, and while the units are beautiful aesthetically, the overall management and building conditions were far from what was promised. The hallways are constantly dirty, and the elevators are rarely cleaned, with some residents even allowing their dogs to urinate in them without cleaning up afterward. There is a strong smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke throughout the building, which is not something you’d expect in a “luxury” apartment complex. From day one, I faced issues. I requested to end my lease 24 hours early after witnessing disturbing sexual activities in the parking lot at 2 a.m. That incident should have been a red flag, and unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The building is poorly maintained—when it snows and melts, the bathroom vent leaks due to being on the top floor. The management is absolutely terrible, unprofessional, and has poor grammar in communication. There are no proper online systems or emails in place for rent payments , concerns or anything. When I even asked the manager for a email she skipped over my request. They just have hand-written announcements posted on our doors like it’s 1995. What stood out the most was the lack of professionalism from the management team. They seem to hire individuals without the proper qualifications or genuine concern for the residents. On top of that, my packages were constantly stolen, and the balcony door was never properly repaired after multiple visits. During the colder months, it was unbearably cold inside my apartment because the heat was set to 85 degrees, even though the thermostat clearly read 70 degrees. Despite multiple complaints, nothing was ever fixed, and I eventually stopped reaching out because it was clear that they had no intention of addressing anything. Thankfully, my years of experience in property management allowed me to navigate breaking my lease on my own. Overall, I would NOT recommend this complex to anyone. The management is unhelpful, the building conditions are subpar, and the whole experience was incredibly frustrating

While the apartments themselves are pleasant, the rent does not reflect their overall value. The hallways are consistently dirty, the elevators are unkempt, and some residents allow their dogs to urinate in the elevators without cleaning up afterward. This lack of cleanliness is disappointing. I had higher expectations for this complex, and as soon as my lease ends, I plan to move elsewhere. Although it's not my responsibility to maintain the hallways, I often find myself cleaning them due to my preference for cleanliness—more so than the staff who are actually paid to do this. In summary, while the units are nice and the location is good, I recommend seeking a complex that prioritizes maintaining the property and caring for its residents over solely focusing on profit. With my experience in property management, I have observed that many companies hire individuals without the necessary qualifications or genuine concern for the tenants and building relationships.
