How can you run a place that you hate being at/WORKING at. Very disrespectful, very unprofessional. I feel bad for anyone that comes into contact with that lady, let alone the patients and employees.

I Would Give This Places Zero Stars If I Could!!!!! Patients And Employees Are Mistreated!!! Starla Is The Unprofessional! Worst Of All Sometimes Takes Her Anger Out On The Patients!!!! Some Of Them Are Not Given Food If They Get On Her Bad Side!! DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE!!!!! IF YOU HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS HERE PLEASE GET THEM OUT AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!

This place honestly does not even deserve one star. The owner of the facility is very rude and that facility itself is disgusting inside. They can't even keep staff. I don't even know how they get patients lol even looking at the disgusting photos they have posted on the website that is gross

I don't get the bad reviews. My Dad was in another facility that was shut down by the State. He is on SSI and Medicaid, so his options are limited, but he was forced to move (thankfully). Hill Country has been a godsend! The staff genuinely care for their residents and Starla, the director, is go go go even though she wears a LOT of hats. My Dad is no picnic, but she's been able to wrangle him with her plucky attitude and grit. She keeps me in the loop, which is a far cry from the last institution.

Have not answered the phone in 3 days. I feel sorry for the families of residents who need to check up on them! 10/6/20 UPDATE my sister got moved there, it is not cleaned regularly , they let her go into withdrawal from pain meds without telling her or her family, they changed meds without notice and currently has been without her tramadol for 3-4 weeks. Admin is very rude with clients and our family. They moved her to another city 3 hrs away without written notice or permission! They said she was covid positive but no proof or notice and she never experienced symptoms. So many other issues that deny or violate her client rights. The state will be contacted.
