“ This place is PERFECT,” my uncle said to me approximately two weeks after he first moved in. Why is it perfect? Probably because he asked us to find him a local senior living facility that provided 24/7/365 assistance from caring providers he could understand well, who would allow him to do as much as he could independently yet be there when he need them, and where he could age in place. Additionally, we were impressed with the large bedroom and private bathroom, the ‘ohana-like feel of Kina Ole Estate-‘Elima, and how extensively qualified staff would oversee his medical needs. The staff at the Elima house in Kailua are EXTRAORDINARY! From the first day my mother moved in, Mary - House Manager has been everything I didn't know we needed and MORE! She has an AMAZING staff who are all so thoughtful, respectful, compassionate and concerned about my mother's safety and well being as well as for our family too. I have peace of mind living 2,500 miles away knowing that my mother is well cared for and continues to thrive in her new home.

The staff, especially Beth was very friendly and helpful to our entire family. They made our Dad feel welcomed as he adjusted to his new daily routine. The patience, kindness, and care they gave our Dad made him relax and enjoy being at Kina 'Ole Estates. It has been a big weight lifted from our family's shoulders knowing our Dad is getting quality care and that he is happy and content. They're getting to know him as an individual and accommodate each resident personally instead of making everyone fit into a certain mold.
