1.12.26 edit - I was sad to see Mindy leave but SO grateful that Andreia Mitchell is the newest Executive Director of Holiday Lane Estates. Andreia is doing a FABULOUS job and the best director yet. She cares more about the residents than any of the others and has a great team working with her. And I want to commend the Kitchen Director also - I don't know her name. Jacinda is an excellent Events Director and her voice is amazing. I loved hearing her sing when I was able to take my Mom to Jacinda's Bingos. And as always, the aides take such good care of my Mom. And the new cleaning lady is exceptional. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to ALL of you at Holiday Lane Estates! Keep doing what you're doing. My Mom and I appreciate ALL of you. I just hope Silver Care Management is treating you all very well because you all deserve the best. 6.1.24 edit - I am convinced that Mindy is now in the role in which she excels and is doing all she can for the residents regardless of the SilverCare corporate's "money is all that matters" mindset. I've also gotten great feedback from my Mother that KoKo is very kind and my Mother said she sees why the aides have a lot of respect for her. And as always, the aides are amazing with my Mom which is so comforting to me. A HUGE thank you to the aides, Mindy and KoKo for what you do and for putting up with me and for ensuring my Mom is getting what she needs. 4.27.24 edit- Mindy is doing a good job in her new role. I'm starting to think that SilverCare Management is holding her back from doing a lot of things she knows needs done and wants to get done for the benefit of the residents but, SilverCare Management is a business and it's all about the bottom line for this company with no regard for the residents' needs. I'm just grateful for the employees at this facility. They take very good care of my Mom and that's all that matters. Thank you, Mindy, for doing all you can do, regardless of the corporate greed. After meeting with Ryan Patrick, the Senior Sales and Marketing Director of SilverCare Management, and I have decided to give the new management of Holiday Lane a chance to make positive changes. While I understand that changes will take time, I'm anxious to see what happens next. I truly hope that Mindy Ford does excel in her new position as Executive Director for the sake of the residents and for the reputation of the facility. I have no doubt that Shunell Mutisya will excel in her new position as Lead Caregiver as she has extensive experience working as a care giver in the facility, understands the challenges the aides may have and she truly cares about the residents. The aides have been amazing with my Mother, Dennis is doing a great job managing the kitchen and dining room but Christie Hires, the former Activities Director will truly be missed by many although I understand her decision to leave. I will still recommend this facility to anyone that has a loved one that enjoys a small, cozy setting instead of the bigger facilities that have that "cruise ship" environment.

We've been very happy with the care provided at Holiday Lane Estates. The staff are kind, compassionate, patient and efficient. My mom has lived there over 2 years and feels safe and at home. We highly recommend Holiday Lane Estates for loved ones in need of assistance and requiring their own private space

I love having my Mom here! She is happy, social, gets involved by giving her time to deliver mail, attends outings to lunch & Walmart, gets her hair done, and is involved with activities weekly. I visited 13 other communities before finding this Assisted Living efficiency apartment with kitchenette & private bath. She has gained 30 pounds with great meals, which she really needed. If I can’t take off work as a Speech Language Pathologist, they will take her! What a blessing. I have appreciated everyone who has worked here. They allow private companies to come in for speech therapy, physical therapy & nursing assistance. It’s always clean & are ready to assist. Peter, the director, is always available to assist. Med Techs are fantastic to work with. My mom loves the Cowboys / Rangers & can often watch them on the living room tv. This place has been a home away from home & I know my mom is cherished here. Thank you everyone for the care given to my mom. CC

I wish I could give more than 5-stars to Holiday Lane Eststes—this place is amazingly awesome! The amount of love, care and attention that every single employee gives to each resident (and to the resident’s personal room) is something very refreshing and something that is much appreciated. The staff takes the time to really get to know the residents, and they treat each resident with the utmost respect and sincere kindness. The facility is clean, smells clean, looks nice, provides an inviting atmosphere; and, it radiates a genuine sense of hope, love, and joy that will be noticed as soon as you enter the front door. My step-mother is truly living her best elderly life at Holiday Lane Estates! She enjoys the attentive staff, the socialization with others, the food, and the love she feels on a daily basis. Holiday Lane Estates is much more than your typical assisted living facility… it is even more than just a great home for your loved one… it is family!

My grandmother was a resident at Brookdale Holiday Lane Estates for approximately 9 months before she passed away. I would recommend this assisted living facility to anyone. The staff is kind, accommodating and trustworthy. They treated my grandmother like family, and took care of her like they were taking care of their own grandmother. When she passed away, they grieved right along with my family and still send "thinking of you" cards to us. While she was at Brookdale, I didn't have to worry about her care at all. They handled her medications, provided her meals, cleaned her room, washed her clothes and assisted her whenever she needed help. They even had a hair stylist come in once a week, which she went to. In the rare case that there was an issue, they would quickly and actively work to resolve it. The facility, which has an abundance of natural light, was always clean and smelled fresh. They provided all sorts of activities to keep the residents active and engaged with each other, and for the most part, my grandmother enjoyed the food they provided in their dining hall. I highly recommend Brookdale Holiday Lane Estates. One of the best decisions my family ever made regarding my grandmother's care.
