My 95-year-old aunt was a resident of Holy Garden for approximately four months. Her stay there was filled with compassion and caring from the beginning through her end-of life care. Ana Maria and her staff went above and beyond attending to her needs and keeping me informed on an almost daily basis. I had the honor of being both a caregiver and a close friend to a truly wonderful elderly lady named Alyce. In January 2025, as her needs increased, we began searching for an assisted living residence in the Hollywood, Hallandale, and Aventura areas. After visiting several facilities, we chose Holy Garden. From our very first meeting with one of the owners, we felt confident and reassured. She was kind and welcoming, and we immediately sensed that Holy Garden would be a perfect match for Alyce’s personality and care needs. Alyce was actually their very first resident, and they welcomed her as if she were a member of their own family. The staff, especially Maria and her team, were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to her well-being. They even asked me about her favorite meals and lovingly prepared them for her—something that truly made her feel at home. Despite the major change in her life, Alyce quickly adjusted and seemed genuinely happy. She was cared for with dignity, patience, and warmth every single day. In February, we had the joy of celebrating her 98th birthday at Holy Garden. The staff made it a beautiful and memorable occasion—complete with gifts and smiles. Alyce was the center of attention and radiated happiness. Although her time at Holy Garden was brief—she passed away in mid-March—we are deeply grateful that her final chapter was filled with kindness, comfort, and love.
