Looks really nice on the outside, but poorly run. The owner is also the administrator, and is not a warm and fuzzy person. Most of the administrative staff is family, so if you bring up a concern, they all cover for each other. They can't keep good staff and often need to bring in "agency" workers from outside. They often do hire kind and compassionate staff, but they aren't able to keep them. When I brought up concerns about my loved one being verbally abused or questioning why scheduled activities weren't being carried out, etc, I was given excuses, and was met with hostility from the administrator/owner. Her office as well as the nurse's office is in another building next door, and the admin staff rarely spends time in the same building as the residents. There may or may not be a nurse in the building at any given time. Would not recommend.

Home of the Flint Hills is by far the best choice for my parents. The entire staff has been extremely helpful and knowledgable. The facility is clean and well staffed with caregivers. The meals are prepared on sight and my Dad loves it. He loves the caregivers. I would highly recommend lHome of the Flint Hills to anyone looking for a memory care facility for a family member.

My Husband and I love visiting Home of the Flint Hills and getting to know the residents and staff. This is really the next best thing to living at home. The staff is always cheerful and helpful and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome and right at home. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to have a loved one cared for.

We used Home of the Flint Hills for adult day care. They are a first rate facility. The staff is friendly, caring and highly competent. I am very satisfied with the level of care and appreciate the personal touch. It's hard sorting through care options but Home of the Flint Hills is a great choice.

Our mom goes to adult daycare at Home of the Flint Hills and it's been so great for her. The staff is professional and caring and the residents are all so friendly, it's like a big family. Different activities are planned daily and are fun and entertaining. Everyone eats their meals together visiting and laughing with each other. This beautiful facility is filled with wonderful amenities. We feel so lucky to have found Home of the Flint Hills. Knowing our mom is being taken care of in such a wonderful place gives us great peace of mind. She's made new friends and really enjoys her days there.
