I have been so proud, and so happy at bellewood assisted living. Tanisha, the owner, it's one of the kindest most generous thoughtful and loving people I have ever known. Every one of our residents, as they left here today, left angry and heartbroken, because they were so happy here and so well taken care of. I'm sure the small town rumor Mill is working overtime right now because that is the nature of small towns, but this place has received nothing but excellent reviews since Tanisha took over. Everywhere you I have seen of this place before she took over, and every anecdotal story I have heard from either people who were here or people who had loved ones here before tanisha took over, including from the ombudsman, have been terrible. Tanisha Brown turned this place around. The tragedy that occured here today, was not her fault. Neither she, or anyone else associated with this facility did anything wrong. This was a lovely facility. It was clean, well taken care of, our residents were treated with the kindness, respect, and dignity they deserved. I was and still am PROUD to be a part of Bellawood Assisted Living! Absolutely any of the families of the people who lived in this facility, as well as the residents themselves will tell you what a wonderful home this facility has been under Tanisha Brown's care.

I recently had communications with the new owner. She is a registered nurse and cares greatly about the care of her residents.

The owner is really nice, so glad this place has new management/owners. Taneshia and Cliff are really helpful and have offer some great services for a good price. I love how the this little place is setup. The employees are really friendly, and the food taste wonderful. I would definitely suggest others to consider Bella Wood Senior Living. Thanks Taneshia and Cliff for everything you do for our love one

I would start out by saying this was a good place for my brother last year but he only stayed less than a month. My complaint is that money is due back to my family since I paid a deposit and for 2 months. We followed the rule and gave a notice . I have been trying to get money due to us for months. The owner will not return phone calls or text. Be very careful when dealing with her.

I do not recommend this place at all! The staff is very friendly but the woman who runs this place is not someone I would trust with a loved one. Luckily, my loved one is no longer here but her experience while here was degrading on so many levels. She had some of her items taken away from her without explanation, her privacy was violated many times, the food is terrible--frozen and canned everything, the owner was rude and did not allow her to take phone calls without explanation, and I could continue but I do not feel the need to do so. I am amazed that this place is still running to be honest!
