A loved one needed to move into Assisted Living, and I toured what would be considered the top five nursing homes in New Orleans (first hand experience with two of the above), and HomeLife provided the best possible option in every way, from the beauty of the common areas as well as her apartment, amazing range of activities morning/noon/evening, EXCELLENT care (ESPECIALLY during Covid - not one case to date!). HomeLife is truly a “family” for all residents. CEO DJ Rankey leads by example and every single team member goes above and beyond the “call to duty” to ensure a beautiful happy, healthy fun filled environment! Heartiest recommendation and please be sure to do your loved one a favour by touring HomeLife before making a life changing decision!

Home Life has done an exceptional job of keeping its residents safe and well cared for during this covid shutdown. My 96 year old mother has enjoyed delicious hot meals along with fun activities to pass the time during this shutdown. So grateful for the loving care and wisdom the administration and staff have exhibited during this stressful time.

HomeLife in the gardens houses a nice fish aquarium in the library and a beautiful bird Aviary in the atrium with very pretty colored parakeets. It is a senior housing unit that does allow cats, small to medium dogs, birds and fish. Millie, my cat and I are doing fine here at HomeLife and recommend it to other pet loving seniors. This is a special place, good food, fun activities, and friendly staff. The owners are great people! The other people living here are nice and friendly. My cat and I are Life partners here and I wouldn’t change it.

I’m enjoying being apart of the HomeLife in the Gardens family. This place is a hidden gem in the uptown area and is worthy of a visit! You won’t look any further! To great nursing staff, great food, amenities etc. you’ll want to make this your home at HomeLife in the Gardens.

My parents are at Home Life. It is one of the few places able to accommodate a couple where they can live together even if they require different levels of care. The staff are very supportive and friendly. The food is good. Very pleasant common spaces promote social interaction. We are very pleased.
