Homestead Assisted Living Centers Inc - St. Anthony

We moved my mother into St Anthony Homestead, May 2025 from an assisted living senior care facility in Arizona, which was newly built & highly recommended. Mother did not thrive there & all the pictures of her doing the activities, revealed that she was not happy, as she rarely smiled. Now, at The Homestead, my mother speaks so highly of the staff and how kind and loving they are and how good the food is. She also shares frequently that she has the best room in the building as she’s able to look out upon the trees and the grass! We visit my mother on average of two times a week & she’s rarely in her room as The Homestead has several daily activities indoors. They also provide outdoor events each week such as visiting: National Parks, Wildlife Attractions, Musical Plays, Parades, Museum excursions, along with outdoor Bon Fires w/ Pizza, Donuts & Apple Cider. As I share pictures of my mother with our other family members, they all remark how much happier she is at The Homestead in Saint Anthony & when they talk to her on the phone they get that same confirmation of her being truly happy again! We are forever thankful for EVERYONE associated with The Homestead. To say they are the best is an understatement! You cannot buy happiness like this and yet my mother is saving over $2000 a month since moving to The Homestead!

I am so grateful that I moved my parents to The Homestead Assisted Living in St Anthony. They were in another assisted living facility in another city and Homestead’s care is amazing. The staff is so caring and give my parents so much dignity and purpose. The care is above and beyond what I ever thought an assisted living could ever offer. The rooms, the activities, the food, the medical, all of it! This is home and my parents feel it. They are loving it there. James and Kelly are amazingly amazing! The staff here love what they do and you can tell! The whole staff is amazing! Thank you Homestead… I cannot thank you enough! I know this sounds overboard, but I am sincerely grateful for the care they give my parents.

We moved my mom into the St. Anthony facility a few months ago. We have had an incredible experience overall. Leading up to her moving in, everyone I spoke to was so kind and helpful and easy to work with. Upon moving her in and over the last few months, the staff has continued to be helpful and accommodating in addressing any needs or concerns that have come up. I’m so grateful for their efforts to provide a home that is comfortable and welcoming for both my mom and my family, when we visit.

In a nutshell, the St. Anthony Homestead feels like one big family in a homey setting. The staff are caring. The residents and workers treat each other like family. My brother has loved all the caregivers and appreciates the fun activities. He enjoys the bingo, boating trips, scenic drives, fishing, snowmobiling, BBQs, dances, pinewood derby, Super Bowl parties, restaurant trips, plays, etc. They try hard to meet the resident's wants and desires. If the residents can dream it, they try to make it happen. St. Anthony is a welcoming community, and the library is right across the street. My brother loves taking the adult tricycles around town, and the local shop owners know him by name. The Homestead provides exercise equipment and there is always something fun going on. The administrator, James, has been fantastic. The caregivers are great. They are kind and helpful. The facility is staffed well, so they never seem frazzled or impatient. We have only had good experiences over the four years my brother has lived there.

The homestead is an amazing facility! The rooms are spacious and always kept incredibly clean! There’s a large dining room and an awesome kitchen staff. The staff are so helpful and friendly as well, and are happy to answer any questions or concerns. This is one of the few assisted living facilities I’ve been in that is so well kept and organized. The residents are so friendly and sweet. Would highly recommend!
