HOMESTEAD OF AUGUSTA

They have taken exceptional care of my mother. She is 100 years old and they also coordinate extra care in the assisted living apartments. I didn’t give them five stars because sometimes the phone system seems to be wonky. Otherwise, I’m glad that my mother is able to be there as I live out of state.

Staff and administration are professional, competent, and kind. They provide fun activities and outings for residents. Everyone feels like family. Would highly recommend!

We heard very positive things about Homestead before we ended up at another place! For whatever reason when we left rehab after my Moms stroke, Homestead wasn’t on their list of places they could send my Mom. We brought my Mom eventually to Homestead from the other nursing home after finally hearing that they would take her. The place she left was full of nice staff but the accommodations were very hospital like. The food was less than appetizing so we finally left with my Mom to Homestead. This place has really nice people, accommodations are like an apartment that is well cared for and the food is a tremendous improvement by far. The other thing I like even more is that they really are trying to improve beyond what they are already way above scale on… Caring Staff, Great Accommodations and Good Food too… plus it’s cheaper than the other place which is the icing on an already very nice cake!

I participated in there most recent Easter event and brought my family along and they really enjoyed the activity that was there and there staff was very helpful and active with everyone. Me and my family really enjoyed it here can’t wait to attend next year!

Not very clean and care is sub standard. When you ask questions about your loved one they seem to say alot that it happened while they weren't on shift and previos shift didn't explain or leave notes. My mom only lived 3 months after moving to homestead memory care of Augusta. Paid for the full month of April and mom passed on the 2nd day of the month. They will not return any of our money. What a ripoff of a place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
