DON is very rude. Doesn’t seem to know her resident’s well. Tresa the nurse should be the DON not the one they have not. She is not friendly when families come to. She has been heard talking to staff like they are stupid. But the staff they have is amazing and worried they are going to loose the good ones. It’s sad.

Homestead is a great place. It has been home for my dad and my grandmother. The staff is caring and kind. Activity director is good. The meals are wonderful. I am happy to have found this wonderful place with the amazing caring staff. Dawn is amazing. I really appreciate the care my family has and is currently receiving.

I’ve had a family member here for years, and they’ve done a great job with him, both in assisted living and then in memory . They’ve had staff changes, like all these places have, but there is consistency of care and professionalism. Communication has been good. I finally have some peace of mind.

Director of Nursing here is extremely rude and unprofessional. She lacks leadership skills needed for said job.

My father Gary Thomas lived at Homestead of Eudora KS, on the Assisted Living side for about 9 months beginning in 2019, before it was decided he needed more care & he had Alzheimer’s. So he was put on memory care side & received wonderful care & treatment! I was very happy with his care. The staff was on top of everything, was caring, & compassionate with him & all the residents. They provided individual quality time with each of the residents, & made them feel like this place was the residents’ home! My father died there in dignity on hospice Dec 2024 & every effort was given to make those last days, peaceful for my father. They were so attentive in his last days & hours! Several staff members came to his Celebration of Life. My dad loved all the staff & trusted them. I would put another family member there if I needed to. My dad loved the weekly music hour & always looked forward to it! Thank you to all the staff who doted on my father!! Teresa Quintero
