Homestead Assisted Living of Overland Park did a great job of taking care of my late sister Lisa Lister. While no one wants to live in a "care facility", the staff and management here do there best to assure safety and comfort for the residents.

Best CNA’s and CMA’s in the Johnson County area, wonderful new cook Rosalinda, awesome dietary manager Greg. With him it’s always dinner and a show. The residents really love him. The new director is a breath of fresh air. She’s an RN, takes the extra time with families to answer questions & her door is always open. You can tell she’s there because she loves what she does. They recently acquired a new Resident Care coordinator who really takes the time to get to know your loved one and cares about their well being. The first face you see when you walk in the door is Kelsie, the business office manager. She’s very helpful, wears many hats & always has a positive attitude. I would definitely place my loved one at Homestead of Overland Park!

Love this facility and the staff here. Raegan the nursing director is amazing and always available. Everyone is welcoming and cheerful and they are always doing fun events for the residents! When looking for a smaller assisted living or memory care, definitely look here.

My mom moved into Homestead a few months ago and we can't say enough great things about her experience and the staff. Mom settled right in and made friends almost immediately which has made a huge difference for her. We love the staff as they make mom feel at home.

Not a good place to live, poorly ran and maintained facility, management very uncaring about resident needs, frequent staff shortages and turnover - seems like good ones leave, medication errors, recurrent failure to follow Doc & nurse pract orders, items regularly going missing in AL side esp laundry, bad food w/ no menu options, makes me sad because these residents and staff deserve much better, I'm speaking as family and frequent visitor there is a poor level of care with this facility/organization and I dont recommend it! Homestead took building over in mid 2019 all Google reviews older than that are for the previous owners.
