Homestead Senior Living

Homestead has been an amazing home for my dad . The staff are so friendly and treat all residents as family . I never thought i could get my dad to leave his house and he loves it ! It is an absolutely amazing facility. I feel very fortunate my dad has lived his final years here .

My mom has been at Homestead for several years. Our family is happy with the care she receives there. Even with periodic staffing shortages and the pandemic, Homestead puts its residents first. I would recommend Homestead to anyone looking for an assisted living place.

Everyone I encounter says “Hello”! The staff always asks if we need anything. It is always fun to stop and talk to residents on my way in and out from visiting Mom😊

My 89 yr old uncle, for whom I am trustee, was living independently in Delaware until about a year ago. He had some health challenges that made him feel that he needed more help, and he told me he wanted to come to VT to be in assisted living and nearer to family. Within a week, Jem Rodgers moved heaven and earth to expedite our application for a lovely one bedroom accessible apartment, including arranging an assessment in DE at my uncle's home. We brought him to Homestead in September of 2023, and he feels like a new man! Loves his apartment, the responsive staff, the food, and most of all, the companionship of other elders! Worth every penny! We are all VERY happy!

Our mother has been at Homestead for about one month. We are very happy with her experience. The staff is caring and responsive. The services of meals, housekeeping and nursing are outstanding. The social activities of exercise, games, music, bible study and rosary help keep her busy and engaged. We are so very grateful we were able to have our mother in such a great spot!
