HOMEWOOD OF FREEDOM POINTE AT THE VILLAGES

I have been in Freedom Pointe Rehab for almost 3 weeks now and I can not express enough what a kind, caring, compassionate, helpful staff they have. The activities ladies Cassie and Sue arrange for a wide variety of activities. The nurses all of them have been so nice to me. The aids are so helpful in any needs you may have. The therapists are outstanding in helping me with all the tools I need to go home and be successful. Even the housekeeping staff are friendly and nice to me. Thank you so much for employing such a wonderful staff. This was my 2nd stay here and I would choose Freedom Poibte Rehab again if I needed it. Thanka again. Sincerely Toni Gillenwater Room 170. There are many communities in the Villages area. This community in particular in there Assisted Living section made things so welcoming. I am going through a big transition in life right now. From the time I walked through the doors I felt at home. I was greeted by the staff at the front and accommodated right away. I explained to them what I was there for. I sat down in there nice living room area while I waited a few minutes and was greeted by Niccole. She was very attentive to me and was with me the whole step of the way she made me feel very comfortable and at home. Once we finished the tour we went to her office to meet Terry over nursing to meet with me. He answered all my questions made me feel accepted and helped me answer my questions to make it an easier transition. Niccole and I finished the rest of the tour. While on the tour as well the staff out on the floor was welcoming talkative as well. I felt like it was home. Freedom Pointe you have one amazing person Niccole and Terry though that work well together and also make you feel like your at home. I couldn’t have felt the sigh of relief that I did when I left there today. These two people deserve accolades and angels to them. I will feel welcome here and transition well. Thank you for making this as easy as possible for me I wouldn’t know where to have started or what to do but this was warming and welcoming!!!!! Thank you again!!!!!

My husband is in Freedom Pointe rehab in the villages, recovering from a broken hip. I don’t know how Medicare ranks their facilities, but I must say this one is superior to some of the 5-star rated ones here in TV! The facilities are comfortable and inviting, the staff is caring and the kitchen is amazingly accommodating (good food, too!)! Lots of activities available for those who can and want to participate. Is everything perfect? Of course not, but this Team is working hard on it!!

My experience here was really great! I’m posting this review based on the staff and how they treated me the month I was there. My Nurses, Aides, Therapy and Activities persons were amazing and did everything to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. They treated me with respect and caring - I guess you can say it was like they would want to be treated. This is why I have given them the 5 Star rating. However, there were some issues regarding medication and timing that I have not included in this review and have discussed these concerns with the in house administration. Hopefully, they will take the appropriate action. For those in administration, you know how to contact me.

Our residency at Freedom Pointe Place was brief due to changing health circumstances. We had a beautiful apartment and found the amenities very pleasant. The staff made our stay enjoyable, although it like all work places faces the challenge of labor shortage. I was very appreciative of the warm way they worked especially with spouse who had mobility difficulties. He was treated with friendship and dignity. Our circumstances made it difficult to take advantage of all the activities available, but we enjoyed what we were able to do.
