Hooverwood

Jim had great care there. Roz, Jessice, Tammy, Jaime, and Kirnan all were great. Pat the Caseworker is beyond wonderful and helpful and called the day after his discharge to check on how he and I were doing. They were all very personal and caring with him.

I was impressed by the kindness and responsiveness of the staff during my rehab stay. Nurse Rose was especially attentive. The therapists provided excellent physical and occupational care. Because of their care, I will continue my outpatient rehab therapy at Hooverwood.

The staff at Hooverwood were lovely. Any information I needed was provided quickly and completely. Everyone I spoke with was delightful and knowledgeable. The nurses could answer my questions without having to look anything up. The food served was very good. I even got an email describing a positive interaction one staff member had with my husband without my even inquiring. What a lovely group of people!!!

Both of my parents, 99 and 91 yrs old, have lived in skilled nursing care at Hooverwood for two years. Speaking from experience as their HPOA, and after moving them from another facility, I can honestly say Hooverwood living is a Godsend to my parents and our family. After three years of constant worries about the care my parents were receiving In a former situation, I can now relax and know that the staff at Hooverwood are caring for my parents well. The staff truly care about their residents and ensure they feel at home, loved and cared for. They are very responsive to my parents needs and always include me in any concerns. The facility maintains a clean and hygienic environment and most importantly it is joyful and friendly. The staff goes out of their way to make family feel welcome and part of the community. I think the best review comes from my parents when they both told me, “Stop worrying about us, we’re happy here!”

My husband spent three weeks at Hooverwood for rehab recently. We were very impressed with the nurses and aids. The staff was friendly, caring, and extremely attentive - that’s all you can hope for when your loved one is having health challenges. His room was always clean and the staff made sure it stayed clean. Our social worker, Patricia, helped us get a good plan in place for getting my husband home. Patricia went above and beyond to make sure we were set up for success. John from therapy was also very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed at home to keep my husband safe and on track with his therapy. You will not find a better place than Hooverwood for rehab care. I hope my husband can stay home, but I’m not worried anymore if he ends up needing rehab again, he will come back to Hooverwood. We definitely recommend Hooverwood and their wonderful caring staff. Thanks so much for taking good care of my husband!
