My mom spent her last days at Hopewell House. She passed away peacefully alongside her family on January 14th, 2025. The incredibly painful process of watching her slip away was somehow made less heavy by the kindness, generosity, and excellent care provided by the staff and volunteers. Every single need of my mother and our entire family’s was always met. They treated us like family. My mother passed with dignity and utmost respect. We are eternally grateful for what they have provided us and how graceful they made my mother’s passing. Someday, if I need it, I hope to spend my last days here. Thank you to every single one of the staff and volunteers. The work you do is incredible and selfless. The world needs more people like you in it.

The hopewell house is not allowing me to see my wife in her final days due to a family member putting a protection order on my for completely false allegations…. My wife has made clear this isn’t what she wants I even have an email we sent to hopewell house stating so. Melissa the head nurse informerd me a week ago I could only see her t-f 5-7 2hours a day …she couldn’t have been colder telling me this but today….. today she called in the same cold voice and told me I can never come see my wife again… I have done nothing wrong and this is cruel and I just and I can’t imagine the soul you must have to say that to a husband who gave his wife everything he had … I will never forget this

Hopewell House is a remarkable place with remarkable people supporting it. The facility is clean, bright, and inviting, with every room offering unique views of the surrounding gardens and wooded ravine. There were fresh pastries and a different homemade soup every day for the families of residents. There is a lovely bedroom suite upstairs where out-of-towners or anyone wishing to be close to their loved one in hospice. But the people are the most important part of Hopewell House. Every nurse, nurse aide, and volunteer seemed to be bending over backwards to make sure we were *all* taken care of, supported, and, most importantly, they heard us when we had questions or suggestions. I liken the place to Heaven's waiting room.

If I could give a million stars I would. I don't believe one can truly do Hopewell House justice with words. Our Mom just passed away last night after being here for 10 days. I know in my heart it's truly a slice of heaven. Every single person that works there is an Angel, they have a gift, the care, compassion and sincerity is so comforting to the patient as well as their families. It's how it's supposed to be as our loved ones transition from here to there. We will never, ever, forget our journey at the Hopewell House. Lots of love, Stacy 💕

Our Mom was recently at Hopewell House during her last 10 days until passing last evening. The Volunteers and Nurses are amazing and demonstrate how people should be treated. We knew immediately that we picked the right place for our Mom. Their Love and Compassion flow through Hopewell House and our Mom was at Peace here. They are so kind and supportive towards patients and families unlike anywhere else. We would highly recommend Hopewell House to anyone in need.
