My Father in Law is living at Hopkins after suffering a stroke. With limited mobility and ability to care for himself, he needs to be in an assisted living situation and Hopkins was able to take him within his available budget. The staff that I've dealt with has been pleasant and a cut above my experience with other facilities. They do genuinely seem to care about their charges and appear to do a good job taking care of the residents, including monitoring medication and dietary needs. The building is clean and the maintenance is acceptable. Though, to be clear, it is not what I would call a deluxe facility. The building is showing its age and some of the rooms are a little rough around the edges. Nothing bad. Just not high end. Overall, I give them four stars. The care and living conditions are good and the residents seem reasonably happy.

We are very happy placing our aging father in this care facility. The staff is very friendly, warm, and patient with residents and visitors alike. The location of the facility is near downtown Redwood City, and yet in a quiet picturesque side street -- very beautiful and well maintained. The facility is run professionally, and provides good meal options, as well as activities for residents.

A loving and caring facility I would recommend to anyone looking for a home for a loved one. The staff are like family to the residents; respectful, patient and compassionate. My Mom felt surrounded by love during her 8 months there. So thankful to have found such a perfect place when she could no longer live independently.

My Mom has been living at Hopkins Manor for about 5 months. We are very pleased with her care at this facility. The staff is caring, concerned, and go out of their way to make sure my Mom's needs are met. They communicate with us regularly. The residents are always clean, nicely dressed, and well fed. They have a great entertainment schedule which includes many lovely volunteers.
