INDEPENDENCE MANOR AT HUNTERDO (NJ45A000)

I am so grateful we found Independence Manor. It was time to sell my Mother in Law’s home and get her the daily help she needed. Well, we found more than help. We found new friends who have become like family for my Mom. Mom did a complete 360! She was depressed, barely walking, not active and just feeling down. Within days of moving in, we noticed a huge difference. She’s ALWAYS busy, engaged, active and on the go. She’s dressing herself again, walking, engaging and LIVING again. My husband and I are beyond happy with the care Mom receives. The staff all go above and beyond. I have a lot of experience with my own father and family member at other long term care facilities and they were a nightmare. The nurses are always on top of Mom’s meds and daily needs. The house doctor is great and checks in on Mom weekly and updates us. There is no shortage of activities or events. They are over the top and truly go above and beyond. Independence Manor has given Mom her life back. It’s given us peace of mind as well and allowed us to live our lives knowing Mom is well cared for. We visit all the time…usually Mom is busy lol, which is a good thing. She loves the bus outings and trips to the local stores and eateries. It’s been just shy of a year and the level of care has not only remained consistent but exceeded our expectations. The facility is beautiful, recently remodeled and is always kept up. Mom’s room is always clean and vacuumed. We are forever indented to Independence Manor for giving Mom a loving place to thrive while we have peace of mind. There aren’t enough words to truly praise the staff and their care. Thank you!

I can’t express in words how blessed I feel to have my Mama living at Independence Manor! My sister found Independence Manor after exploring several other similar facilities in the area. She was immediately impressed by the warmth and care the staff showed all the residents, speaking to each by name and inquiring about some special concern they might have had. Mama loves it! She has met wonderful friends there. The staff is always available and instantly responsive to anything she needs. Mama’s room is fabulous with a nice view of the grounds. She often tells me about deer grazing near the trees. We enjoy sitting in the beautiful garden patio when I visit. She says the food is great. She once commented the she liked a broccoli salad, but that she preferred it with less dressing. The next time that salad was on the menu her portion had been set aside and lightly dressed. And it was delicious! Heidi, the nurse has been right there to answer questions about minor symptoms and has directed her to the doctor when needed. Mama is in such loving and capable hands. It is very reassuring to me when I live across the country. Independence Manor is very communicative. They always keep me in the loop with regular emails. The activities always sound fun. I often wish I were closer so the I could join in. I have also been grateful that staff listens and responds to any concerns I might have. Though really I just want to send my gratitude and well wishes. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Independence Manor has been a wonderful place for my mother to be the past year and a half. The staff truly cares about her well-being and they are very responsive to her and to me. The facility is clean and beautiful. From the front desk person to the nurses and aids and to the management staff, I couldn't ask for a better spot for my mother to be.

My mother was a resident at Independence Manor for 11years. I want to thank all the staff for the exceptional care provided to her. She often expressed how appreciative and content she was there. Your kindness and compassion made all the difference in her quality of life. The staff does an excellent job of keeping me aware of any concerns and knowing that you were all there, giving your best to Mom everyday, provided me with a great deal of comfort and peace of mind. My uncle has been living at Independence for over a year. He is so happy with everything! The staff is warm and friendly. They respond quickly with answers and help in anyway they can. The environment is also very comfortable. You are welcome to visit and they offer many places outside of the room to relax with your loved ones. They offer many activities for the residents also. Families are welcome to join the resident. I definitely recommend looking at Independence Manor for yourself or a loved one!
