I love Dirigo Pines! They offer wonderful services, from the warmth and competence at the reception desk to the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests alike. Special kudos to the Activities planning; terrific quantity and variety of activities tailored to residents' preferences and needs. Thanks to all the hardworking staff!

Special "thank you" goes out to Dirigo Pines for serving a fabulous Thanksgiving Dinner to many residents and family members. Chef Lewis and his wonderful hard-working staff did a outstanding job in serving the residents in the main dinning room and other dinning rooms on each floor. The staff harmoniously had the dinning room under their control. Our family is blessed to be part of Dirigo Pines, and thank Management and staff for all your kindness and support...

Dirigo Pines offers a community in the best sense of the word. Our experience here is that people in the inn and in the cottages genuinely care for one another. Importantly, the administration supports and encourages the thriving of the community in many ways. Staff members are sensitive to the fact that older people vary considerably in their abilities and show respect for individuals in that range of variation. I find that the physical beauty of the place is joined with the caring attitudes of the residents and the staff form a positive place to live.

My stepmother has resided at Dirigo Pines for the past four years, beginning in Independent Living and now in the memory care Arbor Unit. Throughout her time there, she has received wonderful, high-quality care that has made her life as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. One of the most important aspects of her care has been the low staff turnover. This consistency has allowed both my stepmother and the staff to genuinely know and trust each other, which has greatly contributed to the quality of care she receives. The compassionate and professional attention she receives brings our family peace of mind, knowing she is being cared for in such a supportive and respectful environment. The social activities provided are appropriate and have brought her much joy. Additionally, medical support is excellent—her primary care provider visits Dirigo Pines weekly, which makes accessing medical care simple and seamless. Based on our experience over the past four years, I would gladly choose and recommend Dirigo Pines again.

My children and I have volunteered at various events at Dirigo Pines throughout the last few years, and they are always so gracious and welcoming. We absolutely love, making cards, sharing hellos and smiles, and watching the faces of the residents light up as we walk through the beautiful facility and chat with them about their life experiences. With Christmas coming up soon, my kids have already asked when we can return to make ornaments with our friends at Dirigo Pines, we cannot wait to return and volunteer again!
