Beware of this facility. Don't be fooled by the landscape, the beautiful furniture, the catered parties with a band. It's all a facade to hide what they're really doing. My parents have been here for 7 months, I live 15 mins away, visit every day for 8hrs at a time because things have been fishy since their first week. They've had multiple medication errors, the med techs have attempted to give my mom an anti-psychotic (Seroquel) three separate times but she refused each time. The worst incident is when med tech Veronica was very, very inappropriate with my elderly, fragile mom. My mom attempted to report this incident to the new director Alicia who along with corporate regional nursing supervisor Adrianna tried to trick my mom and said Veronica wasn't working on the date my mom was reporting. They lied to mom, said Veronica wasn't working that day, but my mom had it written on her calendar. The police were called (Ivy was mandated to report) because an assault occurred. The first thing the police officers said, "Mam, you were correct about the date. Ivy has retracted their statements about saying you had the incorrect date". I called the omsbudman (state of CA) at my mom's request and the retaliation got worse. They are childish, disorganized, and horrible at handling emergencies. But don't worry, if you're still interested going to this facility they might just keep giving your loved ones an anti-psychotic medication to keep your loved one from telling you there's a problem. Welcome to this hideous mess. I'm just grateful to be getting them out. Don't waste your money here.

I adore this place. My parents have improved being here. Right this moment, my parents are singing to Frank Sinatra, with a community of their elders. Each time I come to visit my elders there are at least 3 staff around, my parents are active (last time they were painting). Right now, one of the sweet staff is asking what residents were doing at 17... and now they are starting trivia. All on computer so everyone can see. Next up...a yummy lunch. Highly recommended!!! Huge difference from the "5 star" place in Poway, where I had to chase down staff and after 1 year, the aid didn't know my dad had a stroke

Felicita is a clean and "newish" facility. Annuals escalations are steep. Raised fee 4 months after move in. Need to ask multiple times about keeping carpet clean. Medical team is responsive. Mom does not like the food. Not as expensive as some facilities, but newer. Front desk staff is lovely.

Where do I start… Once you enter the office you will know and confirm what I’m trying to describe. The ladies in the front office greet and take care of you in such a professional yet loving way and they are very knowledgeable. Dr. Stan takes enough time to explain everything to you, to make a good and individual plan for you and will talk and recommend thoughts/books/tools beyond ‘his job’. I am so grateful that Dr. Stan and his team moved closer to my home so I can be taken care of. All of the team members are very knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. Please check them out yourself. You may be absolutely thrilled 😉

I love this place! Affordable, clean and caring! Felicita Vida was different right from the initial phone call. My hurdle was to get Mom back to California after having been in a “horror” of a memory center in Tennessee. The logistics and timing were very difficult as was her health. I had to fly back to Tennessee to bring her back. Our arrival was not until 9pm ... on a Sunday. After an entire day and night traveling, we were exhausted. Staff greeted us at the car, assisted in her transfer and it felt like she was coming home from the first moment we arrived. The staff at FV had a room, her meds and a snack ready for her. They even managed to get round the clock staff to sit with her in the new surroundings so she would be more comfortable ... and I finally got some rest! This was in October and I waited to review until I had more to report. Mom is dog lover and Bambi, the resident chihuahua, has become her friend. She now has a roommate and they enjoy time and treats together. At some places the administrative staff sits in the ivory tower and makes rules, but not here. All staff are ‘hands on’. I can come in for a visit and Julie will let me know she has been sleeping a lot. Marisol and Bella keep me informed. They know her and make it a point to be involved. One time Julie actually helped me arrange furniture and made the bed during a room change. They listen. There is always an activity going on and I get an email update letting me know what Mom has participated in each day. There is a Movie theater, Bistro, fire pit, bbq, fountains and gardens. Our favorite place to hang out is the Bistro. It is like our own private Starbucks with a cappuccino machine, coffee, cocoa, tea, juices and pastries. She loves to come out for a treat. There is a happy hour each afternoon where residents gather for a beverage and snack in the beautiful lounge with a fireplace and baby grand piano. I can’t wait for warmer weather to experience the outdoor areas with Mom. I have not had a single bad experience or conversation. They take great care of Mom and she is happy!
