Ivy Park at Hayward is the place to be if you want very good care. I have lived here for 3 1/2 years after living at another Senior Living location nearby. There is no comparison. Clearly the first class care, the responsive staff and the experienced management have made my life much happier. My apartment is comfortable and cleaned weekly. If you like fun activities there is lots of variety. Yeh, its institutional food, but by-and large with Cyrus as our chef its pretty good. Check it out. I am glad I did.

Ivy Park at Hayward is a very good place to live. If you are looking for great care, responsive staff and experienced management come here. I have lived here at Ivy Park at Hayward for three and a half years. I am very glad I moved here from another senior living location near by. Please come and visit our community. Brad Civiello

I am posting this review in regard to my recent, very pleasant, experience at Ivy Park at Hayward, and especially to commend their Marketing Director, Henryetta Beshears. My mother is 94 years old, and is currently being treated in a local skilled nursing facility. When she’s discharged soon, she will need to move into an assisted living facility, as her home of 66 years is no longer safe for her to live in alone. My husband and I have been investigating local options, and at the top of the list was Ivy Park at Hayward. We took a tour on February 10, and were very much impressed. Henryetta greeted us, discussed our needs and goals, and guided us through the amenities and several living units. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Our visit ended with a delicious lunch prepared under the supervision of Chef Cyrus, whom we also had the pleasure of meeting. On February 17 we returned to Ivy Park, this time with my mother. Henryetta again conducted the tour, and made my mother feel very much at home. She understood that this is going to be a major transition for Mom, and explained why Ivy Park would be a very nice place to spend the next phase of her life. The tour again concluded with another fine lunch. We very much enjoyed our tours of Ivy Park, and our interactions with Henryetta. That’s why we’re sorry to report that Mom ultimately chose another assisted living facility. What it basically came down to was that the other facility is newer, and was built from the ground up in compliance with ADA, including wider doorways and larger bathrooms. These are important to Mom, who has mobility issues and needs a lot of assistance. We wish that things had turned out differently, because Ivy Park at Hayward has a very homey, comfortable vibe – more so than the place that Mom chose. And if any of our friends in the future are in search of independent living or assisted living for themselves or their loved ones, we will without hesitation refer them to Ivy Park and Henryetta.

Ivy Park in Hayward is truly a wonderful place to have your parent or loved one live. Without hesitation, Ivy Park Hayward is one of the best senior residential communities I have seen in the Bay Area. They offer everything needed to make senior living complete, comfortable, and fulfilling. What makes it even more special is that residents do not have to leave the building to enjoy life—everything they could desire is thoughtfully provided within the four walls of the community, which is truly a blessing. The building itself is warm, beautiful, and full of life. The dining hall is exceptional, with talented chefs who prepare delicious meals that my mother (and residents) genuinely enjoy. There is a lovely recreation area and an inviting outdoor patio that is perfect for cookouts, gatherings, or simply sitting back, relaxing, and soaking in the daily sunshine. Residents can enjoy a pool table and gaming tables for friendly competition, a grand piano that fills the space with beautiful music, and ongoing mixers and festive parties that bring everyone together in joy and fellowship. Ivy Park Hayward also offers wonderful amenities that allow residents to live as independently and richly as possible—just as if they were living on their own, without the burden of traveling far. There is a barbershop, a quiet and well-stocked library, a computer room, an art room for creativity, an exercise room to support wellness, and a comfortable theater room for movies and entertainment. Every detail is designed to enhance daily life, connection, and happiness. I must give special recognition to Henryetta, the Marketing Director of Ivy Park Hayward, who has truly been a blessing to our family. From the very beginning, she welcomed my mother into the community with such warmth, compassion, patience, and professionalism. Her kindness and genuine care made all the difference during such an important transition. Because of Henryetta’s guidance and support, my mother is genuinely happy, content, and feels completely at home. She loves the staff and deeply appreciates everyone who assists her with her activities of daily living. It is such a comfort and blessing to know my mother is living in a beautiful, well-run community that offers everything she needs. Ivy Park Hayward provides not only a lovely environment, but also true peace of mind for our family. Everyone—from administration to the team members who keep the building clean and welcoming—is extremely helpful, professional, and kind. The concierge staff at the front desk are always warm, attentive, and willing to do whatever they can to ensure everything runs smoothly. With a heart full of gratitude and love, I thank Henryetta and the entire Ivy Park Hayward team. Knowing that my mother is safe, supported, cared for, and truly happy means more to me than words can express. Ivy Park Hayward is not just a place to live—it is a community filled with compassion, dignity, and love. Thank you, Henryetta, and thank you to everyone at Ivy Park Hayward Senior Living for all that you do. With sincere appreciation and love, Linda Marsh 🧡

I brought my mother and aunt for a celebration at Ivy Park. Our experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The building is beautiful, warm and welcoming. While we were making our way to our seats in the dining room, it was nice to see residents enjoying an activity near the fire place. The meal was delicious and the wait staff were attentive and polite. My aunt will be needing care in the future and was so impressed that she asked if she could have a tour. Great community!
