My mom moved to Ivy Park a couple of months ago and so far, we've had a wonderful experience. The staff have been very kind, caring, and responsive. The facilities are very nice and well maintained. The dining is also nice, with good selection and good quality food. And the activities are also great.

Poor Communication, Poor Management, Poor Teamwork, No Representation, No Support. No Matter What You’re Working On They Will Set You Up For Failure! Their driver position is a joke! Anyone That Is looking to bring their loved ones here are better off elsewhere, and at a more affordable rate!

I was helping my mom look for a place in the Palo Alto area, leading me to Ivy Park. The location couldn't be any better for someone using Stanford health care, and there are many shopping, restaurant, park, and library options close by. The weather in that area is beautiful, and the street you enter from is quiet, lovely, and safe. Ivy Park is beautifully designed, the entrance is welcoming, and the dining are, library, activity room and movie theater are luxurious, and comfortable at the same time. I am sure it will be easy for Mom to feel right at home. The staff is super friendly, and helpful, which I found so relieving, as the matter of searching for the best place to move my mom was almost overwhelming for me, but stressful in the least. Emily, Chris, Stephanie, and the concierge staff all just lightened up the entire process for me, and I felt perfectly content with the choice we made. My mom told me that Ivy Park is "a dream come true", and i dont have much more i can add to that. Thank you, Ivy Park!

I moved my parent's into Sunrise in 2018 having chosen it over other (and perhaps more fancy) places. The proximity to the restaurants and the Farmers Market on California St was a real draw. The amenities of Sunrise (the rooms, the common areas and the Dining Commons specifically) were very nice and, of course, the staff were always veyr friendly and helpful.

The care managers get 5 stars, they are an amazing bunch of people who really care about the residents. They are overworked, understaffed and I assume underpaid but do just an exceptional job providing loving care to the residents. Sunrise itself gets 2 stars. They do not have a solution at Palo Alto if your loved one is not appropriate for Assisted Living but cognitively not a fit for the Memory Care (Reminiscence) floor. Some Sunrise location do have a Terrace club that is designed for residents who are not a fit for assisted living or for Reminiscence. Palo Alto does not. Do not send your loved one to a Sunrise if they fit this description.
