Jacqueline House Assisted Living 2

Our mother was at Jacqueline House and was very comfortable. The staff loved our mom like she was their own. Very friendly and always available to help. I totally recommend this facility.

My dear mother lived at the lovely Jacqueline House for three years before passing in November 2024. During her time there she was very well loved and tenderly cared for by the very compassionate and capable staff there at Jacqueline House. They treat their residents as their own family and I would highly recommend their excellent care home.

Beautiful,cozy home. Definitely recommend this place for your loved one. I've visited and am impressed with how professional and caring the staff are. Definitely worth checking out.

Beware of “Jacqueline House Assisted Living” in Jackson Mi. I don’t want you to get taken like I did! I was looking for an assisted living facility for my mom. I visited “Jacqueline House” in Jackson MI. It seemed nice and I was told my mom would be first on the waitlist - it required a $500 deposit that would be used towards the first months rent. Non refundable “if I changed my mind”. I asked what if something happened and my mom was not able to come? I was told that would be different than me changing my mind. I have called every few weeks checking the status, but no opening over 4 months of time. Since that time, my moms health has drastically declined. She is now in a skilled nursing facility and not a candidate for assisted living. When I called “Jacqueline’s House” to inquire about the deposit, I was told they never refund money. While they have done NOTHING but tell me she was on a waitlist, they refuse to refund the $500 deposit. What a shame/crime to steal from families and the elderly, taking what little they have. I asked up front what if she passed away before she got in and was told that would be different. The response now, we never refund money even if the person dies while waiting for a spot. BEWARE OF JACQUELINE HOUSE! Unless you want to give away money for nothing. So sorry I made this mistake!

Thankfully, 3 of my friends chose this for their final days. The staff was very caring and loving to the people living there, visitors and each other. The house is very clean and sanitary.
