Happy Place Elder Care is a wonderful facility. The owners and staff have been great and very attentive to my mother-in-law’s needs. They have provided our family great comfort with their professionalism and heartfelt care of my mother-in-law. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

We looked for a place for my loved one who needed full time care. We found happy place! Rooms are wonderful, house is wonderful, care givers are wonderful. They take great full time care of my aunt!

Beautiful people. They took care of my family during the times I needed them most. They took care of my family as if it was their own mom. Anya was extremely caring to my mom. As well as Herman the owner. He was very hands on with everything about my mom. He calls me like a brother every minute there is something going on which I really appreciate. If I can give 10 stars to this facility I would. They are an angel.

My husband was well cared for by the Javier family and staff. I was also treated kindly. Residents were all well fed and clean. Medical needs were attended to promptly. I had visited several homes before placing my husband and was glad to find Happy Place. This was a good home for him until he passed into eternity.

I moved my father in law at this place because unfortunately the place where my mother in law was in did not have any beds available at the time. So instead I was referred to this facility called, and I use this name very lightly, ‘Happy Place Elder Care’ in Newhall. I can only say it was a nightmare what we went through with them. After my father in law suffered two bad falls at the Happy Place Elder Care, and the staff stating they needed their ’rest’ at night and couldn’t watch him every minute on the hour, we were compelled to move him out immediately for his own safety. Thank goodness that A Safe Haven, located in Santa Clarita, had a bed available at the time! The difference in care, kindness and compassion that my father in law is now receiving at A Safe Haven is astounding! If you have a loved one who is suffering from the onset of dementia you should not take them to Happy Place Elder Care facility. Although, they kept the rest of the money and have yet to return any of my calls to refund the prorated fee, I am relieved that my father in law is at a better and safer facility and is being treated as every human being should be treated with kindness and respect.
