I have serious concerns about the care dementia patients receive at this facility. I would not put anyone you care about here. Zero stars.

Zero stars if possible. This facility has been reported to the state for negligence. Avoid this place at all costs. There's not much grace to be found at The JK House of Grace. My father was admitted to this facility against our wishes because we lacked medical POA. He entered walking with a walker and feeding himself; within two months, he was immobile and fully dependent. Residents are routinely restrained in recliners with legs elevated and backs reclined, limiting mobility. His feet rarely touched the ground. His day would consist of being transferred from a recliner, to table, and eventually back to the recliner again. He fell and sustained a severe head injury in early October, gashing his forehead open on his wheelchair. He was on blood thinners, yet he was not taken to emergency services, did not receive sutures, or have any diagnostic imaging performed. Staff was told he needed immediate medical intervention, but to no avail. Approximately seven weeks later, he became non-verbal. Imaging revealed a subacute subdural hematoma—a slow asymptomatic brain bleed that went untreated because medical staff decided no intervention was necessary following his fall. By late December, he was placed in hospice at this facility where it was clear regular skin checks, bed repositioning, skin protection, personal hygiene, and oral care were not properly provided. He suffered and died. This catastrophic brain injury ultimately led to his early demise. The facility failed to provide the proper standard of care, constituting negligence and a breach of duty. People are easily discarded here and left to die with no oversight.

My mom lived at JK House of Grace II for 10 months before passing, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home. We moved her there from a larger memory care facility, and the difference was incredible. JK House of Grace truly provides a warm, home-like environment where residents are cared for with compassion and respect. The staff is fabulous—kind, attentive, and patient. They treated my mom like family, and I always felt at peace knowing she was in such loving hands. Meals were homemade daily, healthy, and delicious, which made her feel comfortable and cared for. I am so grateful we found JK House of Grace II. It’s more than just a place to live—it’s a home filled with love and dignity. Highly recommend!

My mother moved from another memory care resident to JK House of Grace II where she lived for 10 months until her recent passing. The environment was very similar to the home my parents spent so many years in and the quality of care of every single member of the team was outstanding and far superior to what she had experienced in the prior 9 years. The food was always fresh and healthy and handmade. We consistently heard from outside medical professionals visiting my mother that the level of care and environment were consistently superior to other environments they visited. Please do visit one of JK House of Grace's four homes if you are looking for a safe, peaceful, loving environment for your family member.

JK House of Grace has been a blessing for our family. Beginning in 2009 our Mother-in-Law, in 2013-2014 our Dad and currently our Mom now lives there. The Khader family provides an intimate, home-like environment for 6-8 residents in each of their homes. A typical day might include a Bible study/reading, or a tea party, or an arts & craft project for an upcoming holiday. There is often a birthday lunch celebration or a holiday celebration going on. The Khader family and their staff lovingly care for each resident with respect, kindness and encouragement. Our family highly recommends JK House of Grace to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
