I would highly recommend Woodruff County Health Center in McCrory Arkansas. My Mother was in the rehabilitation center from 03-06-25 till 03-18-25 then again from 03-24-25 till 04-11-25. She had some broken ribs, two pneumothorax procedures, punctured lung, and bruised kidneys, all from a fall at home. She had been in the hospital in between times. There is so much good to say about this Center, I'm sorry I can't write it all here, but I personally, and Mom agree this would be the absolute best place to send someone you love and care about for rehabilitation services. First, if you ask for Dr. Wampler, you will definitely be in great care. He took excellent care of my Mom while she was in the center. He sent mom back to the hospital in the nick of time for her 2nd pneumothorax to drain her lung. Dr. Wampler is highly compassionate, extremely knowledgeable about his work, and very trustworthy. I am so proud He accepted Mom in his care while we were there. Otherwise, I don't believe we would have had a great turnout like we did. Awesome Doctor!! Mom absolutely loved Miss Donna in therapy, as well as the other gentlemen there. Miss Donna is excellent in her work. She is wonderful, my Mother loved working in therapy with her. Everyone in therapy was great! The floor nurse Miss Mary Baldwin absolutely love her. She will keep you informed of any situation that occurs. She is excellent in answering any questions. Miss Mary took very good care of Mom while she was there. Mom also enjoyed talking to and the help they provided to her, Nurse Treasure, Nurse Jonathan Cambell,Nurse Kerry,Kaitlynn, the intern that worked with Mary. I'm sorry I can't name everyone, or if I spelled a name wrong, everyone there was so helpful and thoughtful. Problems? Recommend talking to Miss Bre or Miss kim. Also very helpful was Miss Caskey, in the cafeteria, she is very sweet. Miss Amy, Miss Julie, in the office, very knowledgeable and sweet. I can ask Miss Laqueeta anything, she will find out any information you would need, so nice. Tim,Bailey, also a lot of others who took care of Mom, so helpful. Thank you, Tim! Miss Rhonda, in the craft department, you will love her. Sorry about misspelling or leaving someone out because the nurses and Cnas worked very hard. If you decide to go here, talk to Miss Laqueeta. Ask for Dr. Wampler to be your provider while you are here, I can't see where you could go wrong. The Center is clean. They always have a nurse and Cna on duty. Three meals a day plus snack in between. Very comfortable place for the family to visit. Restroom in the room, sort of like a hospital environment (the rehabilitation part)oxygen available, hospital style beds. Closet, drawers for clothing, etc. Also, have personal disposable under garments if needed. Television, very nice setup. Nurses bring your medication, check your vitals, and there is a call button in the room and the restroom. Big cafeteria, you can also participate in the residential area when they have something going on, like Church,Nail painting, games, birthday parties, etc. I think the good here will outweigh any little bad that could occur. Yes!! My Mom would recommend it here, so would I..We thank everyone there, all of you, great!!

I have never been so disappointed in my life! I have had other family at this location and they were treated well so when my sister needed rehab that is who we used. I do realize everything has changed since covid 19 but she had been tested 4 times at 2 different hospitals and had 4 negative tests. Several days after she arrived they tested her and moved her to the covid wing! As if her medical issues are not frightening enough, this scared her even more. Her medical condition caused her to have very painful headaches and her doctor called them to give her medication but did not get a call back and was unable to talk to them. One nurse told me they were putting her on a drug for depression because she cried and was emotional bUT was very nice.. My sister texted me about 1130 pm another night and her head was hurting so bad. I called and asked the nurse to please check on her and was told she would. Talked to sister the next day and the nurse was so hateful to her and did not get her anything. Also she was not given her blood pressure pill but once a day when she is supposed to take 2. She did her 20 days and we got her out of there. She is doing much better and is taking her medication as prescribed. We got the new medication and her head is not hurting as bad. I pray to God no one that I love ever has to go there!
