Eddie Thipphavong - The absolute best friend and guide, the consummate expert to navigating the John Knox Village retirement community!! Without his wonderful, patient, kind and empathetic ways, we’d have been lost!! I wish only that everyone could have an Eddie as their guide, their advocate, their GO TO during this very confusing time. He’s been a life changer, and we are so very privileged to call him - our dear Friend!! EDDIE… we love you!!!

Every minute spent on campus gave us a positive image of what life for us at JKV could be. Especially helpful to our experience was time spent with Liz Woodford at Marketing. We learned so much at our appointment and from her ongoing support. No pressure, no hype, just open friendly conversation. We are fortunate to have friends already living at JKV who hosted us at a variety of activities but the nuts and bolts of what to consider and how to proceed came from Liz!

Liz was the perfect guide during our two tours of John Knox Village and so smart to suggest two tours instead of one, giving us plenty of time to get to the know the campus. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to understand. We felt comfortable and confident enough to put our names on the waiting list. Highly recommend working with her!

Eddie T. is great! He was a major factor in our moving to JKV. Eddie is an engaging gentleman who "draws you in". He listens well and is genuinely concerned about your welfare. He quickly responds to your concerns and requests both before and after one becomes a resident. If you need something done, ask Eddie. We consider him a friend.

We toured JKV of Central Florida recently and we were so impressed with Liz Woodford, our retirement counselor, and her professionalism and understanding of our slight apprehension, given what a big decision this would be. We have toured 3 other CCRCs in the region and JKV is arguably the best we've visited. It checks all the boxes. We plan to return and tour the assisted living and nursing sections and sample the food. KUDOS TO LIZ!!!
