JOY OF LIVING CARE SERVICES

We went with an appointment to visit this assisted living facility. 1. Zero signage showing that this was the Joy of living assisted living home. 2. There was a gate, locked, also with nothing that said ring bell, nothing. 3. By accident after several minutes searching we finally found a bell. After a few minutes of waiting we're greeted by a very rude, angry person who starts ranting about the fact , unknown to us, that she was unaware of any appointment. If this is an indication of how the residents are treated, I can only imagine how poorly they're treated behind closed doors. I don't know where these other stellar reviews came from but it was the exact opposite of our experience. After such a horrible greeting we didn't even want to see the inside. We strongly recommend you proceed with caution or avoid altogether. Absolutely horrible experience.

I called for an email address and to give information about musicians and music therapists working with the residents there, and was spoke to very rudely and hung up on. I called another time to speak with the "Manager" and the woman did not listen to anything I had to say, said two words and also dismissed me and hung up.

Excellent retirement community! My parent feel very well here! I looked at some retirement communities before and I didn't like most of them. Joy of Living Care Services Inc is the best decision I've ever made for my parents and I can say that truthfully. In addition, the manner in which it’s run, the care that’s given to the people who live here, it just has a lot going for it. So if you are looking for retirement community, all you do is pick up the phone, call Joy of Living Care Services Inc and say “I/we need help”. You will not regret if you decide to go with Joy of Living Care Services Inc!

This is the second assisted living facility for my mom and I have to say that we are very happy with their assisted living services. The staff is very professional, kind and care giving. My family and I wholeheartedly recommend Joy of Living Care Services Inc as an excellent assisted living facility!

I am most impressed with the quality of care at Joy of Living Care Services Inc. I usually visit my mother’s cousin once a week at different times and on different days. Everyone working there, knows all the residents by name and personality. They seem genuinely concerned about each person – not just from an employee perspective, but one of compassion.
