JOYFUL ASSISTED LIVING HOME,LLC

As the Director of Nursing for Texas Hospice Providers, I had the pleasure of visiting Joyful Assisted Living Home to introduce our organization. I was truly impressed by the professionalism of their team, the compassionate environment they have created, and the high standards of care provided to residents. It is clear that their staff values collaboration, communication, and a holistic approach to meeting residents’ needs. Facilities like this set a strong example of quality in senior care, and we look forward to opportunities for partnership in supporting patients and families together.

My wife and I have no great expectations for high quality care at most senior living residences, but our perception was quickly and convincingly changed for the better in so many ways on our first visit to Joyful. We volunteer at our church in a ministry specific for visiting homebound parishioners. We have visited people who live at other senior assisted living residential facilities prior to ever knowing of Joyful Assisted Living. Even before our first visit to their Rolling Hills Drive, Allen location, I had telephoned the management office to learn about protocols for visiting. They were most helpful, immediately knew about the person we planned to visit, and their needs – they were even aware that our parishioner was expecting us. This was quite different from the normal need to explain ourselves and the purpose of the visit every time we arrived at other senior living residence facilities. The grounds are well maintained, and the interior is fresh, clean, and up to date. We visit weekly and seem to arrive just ahead of whatever smells so delicious, being prepared for lunch. Everyone is always in good spirits with one another and in quite good care with the very personable aid staff. We always hear good and positive things about living there from the residents and we are able to even see and feel it for ourselves.
