I went to leave a review about this facility and was surprised to see those other reviews because our family's experience has been the polar opposite. We have had a family member there for quite some time, and have been so pleased. The staff are very attentive to my family member and other people who live there, from what I have witnessed. I dont get to visit as much as I would like but am given updates from my sister. Any time there is a problem, the staff who work there call and let us know. Whenever we have questions, the staff or the management always answer with knowledge, kindness, and patience. We looked at other ones nearby and while they were nice, this one stood out amomgst the rest. One of my favorite things about Juniper House is they encourage family members to be involved. It is very family oriented. Some of the staff who have worked there have been there for a long time so to me, that says something. The management seem very experienced and will bend over backwards to help us or our family member. I have even seen them helping hands on with the residents from time to time. I would recommend Juniper House to anybody looking for a stand up elderly community. They have given me hope about nursing home type facilities again.

Would not take Family members here, Workers do not care for most residents are left in wet underwear for hours at a time, Leo is very verbal and aggressive with residents he has a history and has already been let go once in the past because they had to by APS, Meghan does. Not care for residents and has forgot to give Meds and chart meds on record and has forgotten insulin for certain patients, management picks favorites regardless of who is there, workers are always late and are always on their phones and never very attentive to care, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR FAMILY ELSEWHERE. Most workers are very lazy and do less then the bare minimum while on their shifts, food is always left under tables or in the corners, family members always complain of smell and of less attentive care for their family member. Workers are always talking bad about residents and always talking very loudly about residents in front of other residents and gossiping about residents and staff while on shift. For a end of life facility I don’t recommend

This place is miserable for the patients.. When my mom was there we caught a worker (Megan)and her daughter laying in my moms bed watching TV. She also talked about other patients in front of us. When mom fell and broke her hip it took them 1/2 hr to even call the ambulance. We would find her dirty diapers on the floor of her room and we as a family would have to ask them to pick them up and throw them away. They also would not shower her and say they forgot!! How do you forget to give someone a shower!! When mom was dying she (Megan) said we were giving her water to keep her alive. She couldn’t even swallow. She then proceeded to say.. when your mom dies the funeral staff need to take her out the back door so nobody sees them taking her out..(what compassion).. If you want the best for your family member do not take them to this place of horror.
