KHIVI CARE, LLC

Late in his life my father spent well over 2 years living at Khivi Care. Thanks to the owners, Sharan and Rani, their amazing staff, and the beautiful environment they created, he thoroughly enjoyed his time there. He was respected and loved, and found at Khivi Care a home that allowed him to be the brilliant and personable man he had always been, while also giving him the comfort and care he needed in his later days. Sharan, Rani, and their staff treated him like their own family, while also skillfully handling all of his medical needs. They became honorary members of our extended family, and we will always be grateful for everything they did to make his last few years so pleasant, joyful, and worthwhile.

Wonderful environment, attentive staff, very helpful all around. We couldn't have picked a more perfect home for our mother during a challenging time for her and the family. The folkes at Khivi were sensitive and caring, always welcoming to us during our visits, and very quick with anwers to our questions. The owner/managers are professional and curteous. The property is very clean and tidy, and the sunny back yard is large and green with many trees and flower bushes etc. We recommend Khivi Care highly.

I really can’t say enough good things about Khivi Care and how well they’ve taken care of my aging mother. Khivi is truly remarkable — The home itself is beautiful, more like visiting a friend’s home. It looks and feels like an actual home, which has roommates who spend time together in the common area and aren’t always holed up in their rooms. It also has a lovely garden where folks can enjoy the sun or birdwatch. The house feels clean and fresh and has tasteful decor, so it’s a pleasant atmosphere. They have home cooked organic meals, and even some group activities which doesn’t always happen in a small residential home. My mother's health has improved so much since being there! She was going in and out of the hospital but is now on the mend. The personal care and social group environment has allowed her to both have the personalized attention she needs to stay healthy and well, with lots of social engagement with other residents and staff, but also the freedom to do her own thing if she just wants some alone time. Between meals, physical therapy appointments, doing puzzles, spending time in the garden, and playing an instrument, she stays well engaged and socially connected, more so than when she lived at home. Khivi Care has truly been a blessing!

My mother was a resident here for several weeks, recovering from a fall. I cannot overstate what a great experience we had at Khivi Care. Mom was well loved and cared for. I had no qualms about her safety and happiness while staying there. They don't let their residents languish. They provided holiday activities and decorations, and frequently chat with the residents, not just check on them. The meals are nutritious and tasty. The house is tastefully decorated and really feels like a home. Owners and staff are truly wonderful: Sharan and Rani, Iraida, Natalie, Annie, Nora, & Simon are all fantastic. Highly recommended.

My sister has been at Khivi Care for four months now. She's very happy there. When I talk to her about where she's at she always tells me, "they are very good to me and they take very good care of me." I looked at about 15 other places before Khivi Care and I'm very happy with my choice. It's not like a facility where they come out of their room just to eat their meals. Sharan and Rani have made it very homey and the staff is excellent. The staff is always making an effort to keep her involved in activities, whether it be coloring in an adult coloring book or even watching movies with the other residents. Many times they will just sit in the backyard and talk just to get to know them better and to keep them engaged. One staff member was especially kind by bringing her flowers one day. It's amazing to me how much my sister's health has improved since she's been there. Her quality of life is better and now she enjoys going out instead of laying in bed all day. The staff makes sure she takes her medication every day and that she always has a supply of medication on hand. She eats three delicious meals a day and she always has someone to talk to and share stories with during meals. Khivi Care prides themselves on the security they have put in place, and they are right across the street from the fire department in case there’s any type of an emergency. They provide a wonderful atmosphere for my sister and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a place for your loved one.
