This place is home! The new manager has taken a broken system, that is hard to work with due to economy, covid and other out of hand circumstances and made this place into thriving environent for it residents! Fabulous staff who take pride and heart in thier careers! Treat persons living there with care kindness and heart! This is a family! We have had our family member at other facilities, just a number in $, at kindered hearts its a game changer. They go above and beyond! Great people, food, service to the residents..its a home! Hope to see this facility keep its faculty, and residents keeping the presidence for others to do the same. There is trouble with the nursing care system. More needs to be done, we may all eventually find ourselves needing help. Our state, government, representatives to us should be making this area a priority! Changes for the better, give business as such as this special place a chance to move into the future and not become a statistic! Provide the tools needed, work with them to give education incentives for care workers to grow, while giving funds to keep them on board. Nursing home attitudes needs to all change across the board. These places host people not money. This place, kindered hearts of manitowoc, is a home, positivity happens every day! Challenge the industry, gov., health care to do better and lead as this place does for betterness! Great place!

Great place, Director is caring and treats the residents great! The staff cares about the residents like family. They go above and beyond there jobs to make the residents feel right at home. Food is great the residents love it!

Great family feeling! The Staff treat people like their own family. Kind compassionate and knowledgeable. I know from personal experience the staff goes above and beyond to meet their residents needs! Thank you for caring for people who need you the most and are vulnerable. You’re the best!

New Manager does NOT know how to run this building or how to talk to family members. Always a constant battle to keep my family members bathroom cleaned, he had gone a week without his shirt being changed, high turnover rate, was even told by interem workers from another location that things were terrible at this location. Not a professional atmosphere what so ever. Very disappointed and hoping state will be able to remedy this.

Do not bring your family member here if you care about their health, safety, and happiness. This place is a dump and the manager and half the staff needs to be fired. Our family member had asked for a bath for 2 weeks and kept getting put off. They wanted to be more mobile and asked help walking and they refused. She had an accident and she needed help cleaning herself, they left her soiled and wouldn't even give her a washcloth when asked to clean herself. No working toilet for several days. On a no salt diet for her health and all they feed her is constant salt which is horrible for her heart. All these issues were brought up and nothing was done. Nothing is ever fresh the food is horrible it's either burnt or raw or out of a can. Staff brings their kids in and a lot of the time are sitting around talking not doing anything. Wouldn't even give it 1 star hope it gets shut down so no more elderly people have to suffer like ours did!
