Toured the facility prior to relocating my mother there. It is clean and the staff is very friendly.

I like Kings Grant the residents are great but when it comes to a few members of staff that's another story. Also you would think for the amount of money the residents pay to be there everything would be in order and up to date but its not they shouldn't charge what they do unless everything is renovated

Wonderful staff and facility with one very large exception which is why I only give 4 stars. My father is very happy with his apartment and all of the services and staff. However, as with so many places these days decisions were made to cut costs. I understand the need for cost containment, but my dad always used to brag about the meals and how wonderful they were. In fact, many people from the community used to go there to eat even though they don't live there. One of his friends used to visit once a week for to join him for lunch. That stopped around the middle of 2018. The food choices became more limited and I quit hearing my dad brag about the food (and his friend quit joining him for lunch because of the changes in quality of the food and experience). This breaks my heart because I know how much enjoyment he used to get out of this. The dining room staff are pleasant and cheerful always, so I don't blame them. But, I hope the management will consider the changes and realize the possible negative impacts of the changes on people wanting to live there and the quality of life for those who do.
