As Social worker in an elder law firn, we have had several families at Kingston Assisted Living, and they have been pleased with the care. We find them easy to work with.

Wonderful staff that communicates well and truly cares for each and every resident. The community is family oriented and staff is able to answer complex questions inside the healthcare arena. Highly recommend for assisted living.

We were met with many many issues beginning in the first 2 hours of our loved one being left in their care. We got a call to come sit with her because they were too short staffed to help her adjust. On another evening we were called to come in as 4 staff members sat at the desk ate food. played on their phones while I saw a man delivering pizza go into patient rooms and no one followed or asked where he was going. The care our loved one received was just at most minimal and the her suite was only cleaned once we complained about the mold in the toilet. Our stay was very short and we would not recommend Kingston Residence of Vermilion to no one.

The thing I appreciate most about Kingston is the affection, the respect, and the level of attention the staff would exhibit towards the residents. It is a great feeling to know your mother and everyone is in a place where they are well taken care of...and treated with great kindness!

It seemed okay. I only came to visit a friend who had been a client. She was in the dementia unit. The facility seemed clean and well laid out, but her living quarters were miserable. It seemed like she was in a jail cell. The door was unlocked, but we all know that a dementia patient can't be allowed to come and go as they please. It -is- a jail cell. I know her to be a brilliant, fun, loving person. It was hard to see her in such a small room. It was not a home. It was a holding room. Very sad.
